I think she really was feeling guilty. All through this fracas, she has seemed subdued. She even has been merciful to Lady Min, Yeun-seng, and the eat-all girl. I did not watch the first episode of this series and missed some of the second, so I don't know if all of those scenes regarding Myoung's death were flashbacks or if they actually were seen in Episode 1 (when they were 'happening'), but it appears to me that Lady Choi was much like Keum-young, an unwilling participant at first, but now vindicated in the belief that everyone is "making her" do these things by not cooperating with the Great Agenda (money/power for Chois). I think her guilt at what happened with Myoung has been eating at her all these years, and I think her guilt over Lady Han will do the same, no matter her appearance of triumph and jubilation. I think she will break at some point; I think she almost broke over the framing of Lady Han and Jang-guem. She came into Choi's meeting with Sir Oh and seemed about to say something, to try to stop him, before he suggested the beheading. I think if J-G comes back and challenges her, she'll break into little pieces.

Some of the soaps seen strange etc but psychologically they fit. The Palace is an addiction and isolation. Think of it like someone with an alkie and SHOULD get out but winds up ===> in more and more trouble. Trouble always comes back!
For the new young girls IF they are from simple peasants it is a better life for the serious ones.
I think the problem here is FAMILIES get involved.
I hate to be a spoiler but JGs ma screwed up getting PG!
As Lady Han said her GIFT is starting over all the time .
The Chois are at their position and they can not do that.
It looks simple but SO deep. 'WIFE' was good but all the comments were it was BLAH. It was perfect for real life like that.
Maybe it is age/experience but it is not virtual reality soaps. Maybe why the KOREAN difference. Polish, Chinese, Philippine are all virtual reality.
These soaps are SOOOOO deep.
