I can't comment yet, Saturday repeat, but the whole thing is GREAT and you best not blink the last 2 minutes!
So much packed in ONE night.

I think the focal point was Queen Mother a little senile and young Queen grinning ear to ear then JG's mother.

I can't comment yet, Saturday repeat, BLESS YOU, RICHARDG! Thank you for being so considerate. It was a FABULOUS episode. Loved everyone's expressions on the return of Lady Jung and Lady Choi's consternation at EVERYTHING. Bo

I guess I missed something, b/c I don't understand how you figured out the Queen Mother is turning senile. Can you please elaborate a little? I did see it, but sometimes I'm trying to read and miss more subtle things. Also, someimtes my baby cries or I get distracted wtih the kids.
Thanks in advance, Colette

Queen Mother: She does not catch what is going on. Feeble minded is not right. Slow memory is not right for HER status.
Natural senility as old. Theer isteh kitchen theft and so much should have been SUSPECTED.
The YOUNG Queen knows the sneakiness of the present day women.
All the little things add up to changes in people. I think watching that closely helps fill in the blanks as language
Might be GREAT writers. It is like literature, 10 meanings for a word but CULTURE is taken for granted as if the literature writer's writing habits. Age is important.
There are FEW characters so every sneeeze has to mean something.

I don't agree that the old queen is senile. I think she is more willing to trust that everything should just go on as it always has gone on, but she sure changed her mind after the young queen told her a few things. The old queen is not senile, and she's certainly no dummy. She's just complacent.
