I missed Friday's episode (in Chicago) confident that I would be able to record it on Monday and everything would be all right.
But no, someone had to go remove the VCR from my room and when I tried to connect it back to my TV, I couldn't get it to work.
After trying all night until about 1 a.m. I gave up, curled up in fetal position and cursed the individual that messed up my system j/k.
Can anyone please give me one of those nice, detailed descriptions that can so often be found in this board. Thanks a lot in advance.

I'll do my best to sketch it in. (also see my message above, "Friday/Monday," in case anyone responds there.)
At Joyland, Hye-ran's father is there with the little boy he's fostering. (Their relationship was probably explained in the two China episodes that KBC did not air in Chicago.) The dad is so busy staring at Hye-ran (unbeknownst to her) that he doesn't see the little boy wander off and get lost. He's not lost for long, because Hyun-kyu finds him and tries to comfort him; the dad sees them and all is well. Hye-ran comes along and says she feels like someone was staring at her. Later, back at the office, HR gives HK the ring her mom has given her for him.
Malbong (Yuri) invites Hye-sung for dinner with the family. She chatters all day about her prospective son-in-law to Kum-ja (the housekeeper--is that her name?), who cooks a nice, big dinner in anticipation of his arrival (she doesn't know it's her son yet). When Hye-sung and Yu-kyung arrive together, Kum-ja sees them, he says, "MOM??," and the cat's out of the bag. Mom grabs him by the ear and hauls him off home, but not before saying to Yu-kyung, "I don't know what he told you, but don't trust him." (She thinks he only wants to marry a rich woman.) At home she berates him and also voices her objection to his choice of a divorcee with a child. He says he's going to marry her anyway and goes off to the worksite to eat his dinner. YK calls and meets him there.
Back at the ranch, Malbong tells Dong-pyo there's no way she can let her daughter marry the son of the housekeeper. Dong-pyo, of course, says to her and, later, to Yu-kyung that he's satisfied if HS loves his daughter and is a good man. But of course Mom is not happy about it. Over the dinner table with DP, YK, and Mi-joo, she starts laughing and laughing about what a comedy it all is. That doesn't mean, though, that she seems at all amenable to the marriage.
Meanwhile, Yu-jin and Eun-ji get together at Min-jae's apt. while he's at work and do some cooking and sisterly bonding. In a very cute scene, all three have dinner together and joke around happily; MJ and EJ wolf down their food noisily and demand more, which is a cute way of teasing Yu-jin about how delicious her cooking is. Then they go out for karaoke. (MJ doesn't sing, though.) My machine stopped taping there, because the episode started late, but it was very close to the end.
That's all I remember.

I know, I'm surprised by that.
I'm sorry you didn't see the recap sooner. It would have helped you with the subsequent episodes, I think.

Just how many recaps did you expect or need?
You got one complete recap, and received it within 24 hours of posting your request. Did you want everyone who looked at your question to supply a recap?
Sheesh!

Man, somebody must have had a rotten Valentines day!
Did I accuse anyone? Did I say anything other than stating a fact that a lot of people saw my post and only one responded? No.
I don't see why you would waste your time generating such negative vibes on the board when you could have used them doing something more productive.
But whatever, to each his/her own.
