Did you guys and dolls watch the previews for tonight's episode?
Man, that Yu-jin sure will stand by her man! Even if it means risking her mother having a near fatal heart attack!
Ugh! Malbong is so dumb. It's like she has blinders. When the father was trying to reason w/her yesterday about the other person's shoes, she still insisted that everyone concentrate on HER suffering and HER distress. I just had to laugh when the father was saying that her love toward Yu-gin was not as pure as it should be, she shrugged it off saying that "I understand the first part about me loving Yu-jin to death." and then totally dismissed the second part, which was the important part.
How her husband has put up w/her all these years, I have no idea.

Great Comment. Actually, I was about to bring it up, you see, Mal-bong is what yo could call...spoilt. So, she expects the same love and care from everyone. But, if I was Yu-Gin, I would give up on Min-jae. HE can't recognize true love when he sees it, but uses his pain as a shield to go hide inside of his shell.

I would suppose that nothing this divisive has come up before. Remember how, in the beginning, they were almost annoyingly lovey-dovey?
I wonder, though, how things were in their family during Yu-kyung's courtship, marriage, and divorce. How much more will we find out about that, other than it all produced Mi-joo?

Wow that was a great episode. Yu-jin totally deserves someone better. Someone who acutually loves her back.

Yeah, in theory we could all say that Yu-jin deserves someone better...but in reality, she could do a lot worse than Min-jae, whose got plenty of good things about him.....The guy has suffered emotionally for a long long time, and perhaps Yu-jin is exactly what he needs to learn how to live and love....She certainly has the patience for it, having stood by waiting and hoping he'd take notice and want to marry her someday.....
Well...things seem to be moving in that direction.....

Wow that was a great episode. Yu-jin totally deserves someone better. Someone who acutually loves her back. I think he WILL love her back. I think right now, he's just looking for a haven from his pain, but he's a good person who knows how to be grateful to someone who treats him well (like Hye-ran--he just didn't recognize that her love for him was different than his love for her). He has the capability of loving. I think he will love Yu-jin and they will grow into a strong couple, maybe much stronger than people who have had everything go their way. Look at the (older) Ohs versus the Suhs--everything has always been hunky-dorey for the Suhs, but now there's a little trouble, and BANG! The Ohs have a much stronger, more loving and equal relationship, even though they are pretty much in pain most of the time. Bo

I agree with Bo completely. When MJ pulled YJ in for that tearful hug you could really see in his face that he is starting to realize how much he cares for YJ. It looks like the road ahead is still going to be very rocky but as long as they both don't give up, I think their marriage will be strong and very happy.
I have to add that HK is about the most selfish person I've seen in a while. How dare he ambush HR's poor mom in her own home? I think she should just tell her kids why she is so opposed to the marriage but HK is also acting like a spolied brat who has never had to take no for an answer and it doesn't matter who gets hurt as long as he gets what he wants.

Yes! And how dare HK ambush HR's mom at her place of WORK! My gosh, doesn't a housekeeper have it hard enough without a spoiled rich boy coming to the house where she works and endangering her job by making a scene?

Bo, HappyCamper and Lucy, you all have expressed the same feelings I have.
Min-jae is starting to realize how deep Yu-jin's love is for him and I think that is making him think twice about what Hye-ran really means for him. I loved it when he said "I'll never forget your kindness." I thought to myself, Well, if she was willing to suffer all this when MJ wasn't saying anything, I am SURE she'll keep enduring w/that hug and kind words.
HK and HR get on my nerves everyday. I don't know why. Especially HK. Just like it has already been stated, HK has some nerve!

Agreed on all points...both MJ and YJ are what keeps OMR on course, with help from my second favorite couple HS and YK. Their scenes together often keep me in stitches! Strong opposition from Mal-Bong definitely strengthens MJ's and YJ's feelings for each other, given YJ's tenacity, enduring love, and devotion, and MJ's strength (I gotta hand it to the guy...he managed to turn out ok on most counts despite his emotional turmoil....other guys in his shoes would have turned to drugs, drinking, and womanizing to help ease the pain....)...He must have some inner strength tucked away somewhere that prevents him from going crazy......A couple of eps ago, there was that great scene with YJ and SY, in which the latter was expressing her gratitude for YJ loving her son despite knowing his emotional state and the predicament he was in....With that kind of moral support from SY, and IN, DP, and YK...plus good friend HS, MJ and YJ have additional good things going for them!

I haven't seen last night's episode yet--I tape and watch the morning's episode at night, though I may decide to rush home from work and see the 6:00 epi tonight, too!--but I did see the preview. It looks like Yu-jin decides to force the issue by disrobing and arranging to be found that way in Min-jae's bed? That is the most gutsy thing I've seen one of our Korean romantic heroines do. On "Green Prairie," Yon-ho pretended for a while that she and Tae-woong had slept together so that her parents would approve their marriage, but that pretense didn't last long.
I am very pleased with what's happening with Hye-sung (is that his name?) and "Boss." It's so nice to see her unbend, and I liked it when she said to herself a few episodes ago, "He's so cute." (After he asked permission to leave early so he could show his mom his first paycheck.) She couldn't ask for a better stepfather for Mi-joo, though, as a potential mate, he's a little immature for my taste.

Yeah, Hye-Sung is still a kid at heart, but I think after her disasterous marriage, Yu-kyung probably needed someone different, but I think Hye-sung's antics are part of his appeal (not all the time though....)...but I think what truly won Yu-kyung's heart was his caring nature....Even Yu-kyung was surprised at how much he cared for her....and she herself is struggling with her feelings as she knows she gradually falling for someone she herself never imagined....Some of her flashbacks show that, my favorite being the one where he grabs her away from those drunken clients that were groping her! I have seen up to eps. 77 so I know how their relationship develops up to that point...heheheheheh...still more memorable scenes for those two! They bring a light-hearted touch that this drama needs!
