HELP! What happened in ep. 22? (Which aired in Chicago Friday the 19th) My dog died Friday and I was way too sad to watch. Why did Min Jae's parents leave home? And what happened between Yu Gin's mom and Hye Ran's mom? I thought I could get away with missing one episode, but a lot happened Friday! I'd appreciate any info!

Sorry to hear about your dog, Jenny. Well, from what I remember, HK tell Yu-jin that the only way he will be able to give up Hye-ran is if he moves away to the States. She scolds him and tells him that he doesn't realize how much harder that will make things for Min-jae and his mom. He says that if he stays in Korea then he will just keep on trying to be with Hye-ran. His plan is to tell his father and grandmother that he left some "unfinished business" in the U.S. but in reality doesn't plan to come back (good riddance, I say). He tells his grandma that he needs to fix some unfinished business, but she is quick to catch on that he won't be coming back. She starts crying and pleading hysterically with him to not leave her and that he will only leave after she dies. She then overhears an argument that HK and MJ are having. MJ tells him not to leave, that he will leave and then HK gives him the lame a$$ excuse that "if only they had fought like brothers" in the beginning, things wouldn't have come to this. MJ grabs HK by the collar just as Grandma walks in, she yells to MJ to let go of her precious grandson, how dare he lay a finger on him, blah blah. MJ is about to walk out, his mother goes to her room and cries and doesn't even want her husband to touch or comfort her. MJ's sister (Eun-ji ?) pleads w/MJ to not leave, he doesn't. So the parents leave to give the Mom some breathing room and she proceeds to tell her husband that they should just call it quits. He tells her (though I am not sure how serious he was, I've got to cath up w/yesterday and today's episodes) that if they get separated, they should not get divorced and then they can get back together when the grandma dies, but that he would hate living each day hoping his mother would die. Also some minor stuff about Hye-ran's mom returning the hand cream and a teacup (that the landlord gave to Hyeran) to the landlord and his being insulted, which made them take it back. Hope this helps.

Wow, and I thought *I* had a negative attitude about Hyun-kyu! ;D And, "lame a$$ excuse"? ;D ;D ;D Galacticchick, you really had me grinning! Mikey

Yeah, the actor who plays Hyun-kyu must be really good because just looking at him irritates me. Or maybe not, have you guys noticed how anytime he is supposed to be feeling "strong emotions" (like when he fights w/MJ or had an argument with Hye-ran) he's always just shown sweating *vigorously*? I was glad that he started calling his step-mother "mother now. What was he calling her before? I didn't even notice until now. I know he wasn't calling her the affectionate "Oh-ma" (not sure if this is how you really spell these words, I'm just doing it phonetically) so was he calling her the very proper "ajumoni"? Ha! I just remembered how salty the Grandma looked when she thought that it was the mom who was massaging her legs and it turns out that it was HK.
