Yeah, I figured that Yu jin's sister will end up with Hye ran's brother... Actually, he is basically an easy going guy & seemed very easy going with her daughter (think the daughter is Min joo)... So I think they will make a good couple. I liked Min jae & Yu jin in the other drama also... I also noticed that at the start of the drama it shows Min jae & Yu jin first.... Like they were the main characters... We may see Yu jin's character take a more prominate role soon.... I'm still kinda irked at her for giving out information she had no right to give.... Oh well, leave that for others to view & give opinions on...

It's inevitable, Hye-Ran and Hyun-Kyu are destined to be together. They desreve each other. Both are immature and annoying. How could Hye-Ran not know that Min-Jae liked her. He wouldn't do the things that he does if he didn't. Every woman I know can tell if a man likes her or not. Some guys are just real nice, but Min-Jae takes his kindness to another level, a level to the point where you can tell that he has deep feelings for Hye-Ran. She's just sooo much immature. She just needs to stop playing games with that man's heart. How cuold you not want a man like Min-Jae. He's smart, handsome, sincere, mature, he takes care of business and still knows how to have fun. What are Hyun-kyu's qualities? Min-jae had the gritty look on his face when he saw HK and HR together. I loved it! ;D

But you CAN see emotional growth in Hyun kyu. Hye ran seems too young for Min jae anyway. No one seems to want Min jae with Hye ran so everyone should be happy that Hyun kyu & Hye ran want to be together... Min jae will end up w/Yu jin anyway I can indeed see emotional growth in Hyun-kyu – but, to me, it just seems to be happening too quickly for me to find it believable. No life-long brat turns himself around this quickly in real life. Heck, if I were Min-jae, I sure wouldn’t believe that little monster Hyun-kyu had suddenly turned into a nice guy almost overnight (though it’s true that the writers seem to be making this all happen, so I guess I just have to accept it). I didn’t think there is that much difference in ages between Min-jae and Hye-ran. Didn’t they say once early in the series that Min-jae was a senior in college when Hye-ran entered as a freshman? However, if you were to suggest that Min-jae *acts* like an old geezer, well, maybe you’ve got a point . . . I do agree that Yu-jin (who, like Min-jae, is a rather low-key kind of person) is much better suited for Min-jae’s personality type than is Hye-ran. Their getting together would be all for the best. But . . . I’ll also be a little disappointed if everything pans out exactly as we all expect. If we’ve already figured out how it all ends, why even bother watching? Mikey

Isn’t it interesting how polarizing Hyun-kyu seems to be among the viewership?
Half think he’s a total flake: an irritating, irresponsible, self-centered brat . . . and the other half think he adorable: just a fun-loving, overgrown kid.
Funny how people’s perceptions can vary so much!

Well, it is true that hye-ran seems to be destined w/hyun-kyu. but, i think it might just be me, but they got together too early; they might have to break up. and yu-gin and min-jae are perfect. each can drown in one's sorrows. since hye-ran is sorrowful, she needs someone who can comfort her that's fun-loving and caring, but just macho enough to show it and be decent too. like hyun-kyu. ;D hyun-kyu is just great. he is what a guy should be, and it is true that he is growing from what he used to be. he wants to like min-jae, but just can't express what he feels. he should, then the brothers will come to act like BROTHERS.

Well Mikey. I think it is more than half that look at Hyun kyu the same as you (immature, selfish, etc.)... I guess I'm one of the others... I'm enjoying this emerging love between Hyun kyu & Hye ran . I really enjoy trying to see things through other members' eyes though. I CAN see that Hyun kyu is the reason for Min jae's pain.. I also realize that it is NOT just this incident that has hurt Min jae. It is years of emotional abuse, rejection, etc from Hyun kyu and mean grandma. The Hye ran problem is just the straw that broke the camels back... Guess this is sure different from YH where most everyone was pretty much on the same side when it came to character judgements... Maybe there is a bit more spice to OMR.... (But YH remains my all time fav)..

NiNi is right. i mean, hyun-kyu must have been jealous bcuz min-jae came into the family when he was a little kis and then the father loved him more...as he expresses in ep. 14/15.

The more I watch OMR, the more I dislike Hyun-kyu! His very presence annoys me. His lips are too purple (it looks like he's in the first stage of frostbite!) and then after all the stuff he's put MJ through, he has the gall to ask him to let him win "just one more time". If I were MJ I'd say "No, why don't you let me have my way just this once! And although I am not saying that Hye-ran is forced to like Minjae, she is leading him to believe (by her not being completely clear w/him) that he has some hope with her. I couldn't agree more with her brother when he criticizes her forsaying one thing and then doing another. I think Yu-gin deserves him more, she seems to know better than anyone where he is coming from, what his history is, and I believe she can help him heal his wounds.

In the love department, point 1 for Hyun-kyu, Min-Jae yet to score. :PHyun-kyu officially has Hye-Ran hooked, though she might try to brush it off. ::)Let the clueless be with the clueless. Min-jae needs a cure for the Hye-Ran virus and Yujin is just the right antibiotic. Did anyone happen to notice how Hye-Ran's mother stated that she wouldn't eat the food that Soon-Young brought for her? I'm begining to think that Mr.Oh is not the kind and loving man that we thought he was. This could mean future trouble for the two annoying lovebirds. ;D

It's likely that Mean Grandma will eventually give her blessings to a Hyun-kyu/Hye-ran marriage -- and that (to everyone's suprise) it will be Hye-ran's mother who absolutely forbids it from taking place.
