"Whip it Good"
I don’t think I have ever seen a show or movie where the "good guy" takes a whip to someone else with such enthusiasm, especially not to his loyal friend. That was a weird scene.
They want Dae-Sung to be a pure unvillainous subject who is unfairly rejected by the emperor, so they are portraying Dae-Sung as a fool leading a revolution with no idea how his troops are being fed and how other generals are being bribed to stay out of it.
Even worse, they have him abusing Lt. Kim for taking the steps necessary to run the revolution. Even though I like the character, his unrealistic ignorance of what is going on and his irrational treatment of Kim are too much.
While I’m complaining, I had to role my eyes when the arch fiend walked up to Surabul and said that although all his troops have been killed off, Surabul had better follow his orders or he will kill them. Either they would have killed him right there or he wouldn't have woken up the next day.

Aging Warrior, that's an unfair statment to say about Keung Dae-Sung. He is very trusting and too loyal and expects the same from his troops. He trusted and depended on his cousin to provide for the troops out of his funds, not the funds of the generals and government officals. I belive that he did the right thing in punishing Lt Kim; however, Lt. Kim has his own ideas which are killing Keung. What is he going to do when Keung dies? He acts soooo loyal but is he really? Lets wait and see
