I had mine (yum! ;D Thanx Luvarchfiend 4 inspiring me to rediscover my vegetarian roots! ). i KNEW it was that GE, just doing a little extra play on the initials. that shake sounds positively disgusting. i will have a nice slice of homemade (by me, and if you knew me you would gasp in horror) spinach quiche, absolutely scrumptious. and you are so welcome. inspiring to vegetarianism is what i strive to do, without being a pain in the butt about it.

The secret to a kicka$$ veggie shake is a few dollops of honey...spinach quiche is always a mouth pleaser...better than that cabbage lasagna I had couple days ago (revolting, but with a slight sweetish aftertaste ).

(modest aren't i? ). that is about the extent of my culinary skills, except my cheese omelets. but truth be told, i am a major junk food junkie.

Okay, I KNOW y'all are just trying to kick luvarchfiend up into the "wang" category. But Jacques is one of a kind.

Bo yes he is, but aren't we all? i don't want wang status, i just want to be 'archfiend' status. by the way, what does one become after 'wang'? jacques is streaking towards whatever that is faster than a speeding bullet. ;D

Random notes on all this: Congrats on your knowing the Italian lyrics to "Volare," jacques. It's "laggiu" (w/ accent grave over the u, but I don't want to take the trouble to put it it now ). Luvarchfiend, you're not alone here re: veg*nism. I'm vegan. So no cheese omelets or Veggie Lasagna a la Archfiend for me. And no honey in my bok choy smoothie either. I applaud your low-key proselytizing efforts. Let's try and find some vegan Korean recipes. All I know is bibimbap without the egg and possibly dukbokgi, though last time I had it (at the little cafe in the back of Chicago Food, it tasted strongly of fish sauce). Know any others? Lucy

Lucy Grazie Lucy (ossia, Lucia ) ho dimenticato l'accento grave sul "giu" ed anche l'ortografia non conforma tanto al dialetto. A proposito della cucina coreana...I'd be hard-pressed to find a 100% vegetarian/vegan dish, although one could certainly improvise. Even so-called "tofu-vegetable" soupstock is likely made from beef bones, and the hot sauce for the dukbogi likel contains strained anchovy juice/crushed anchovies. Maybe that could be a project unto itself: creating a recipe booklet for pure vegetarian/vegan-friendly Korean dishes!

Salve, Jacques/Giacomo!
Geez, there are a lot of accents in Italian, aren't there!
ciao fo' now, Lucia
