We need to know how many people are expecting to come! Chigirl has posted the following:
I did get to check out the Boba. Net cafe. They were very accomodationg. They even said we could rearrange the furniture for our little get together. There is a pretty large TV at the front of the place and they DO NOT have cable! We just have to confirm a week in advance. Even tho the one guy spoke pretty decent english, I may ask Michael for help in this department if we decide on this one. At this time I would go with Boba.net. Unless I can confirm something with the Art Zone. but, then I couldn't see how big the place is. Let me know your thoughts.
SO. If you have not already voted "yes" and intend to come, please do so (even if you thought you'd be searching Busan--the little dickens is home now, you can come to the party. Don't bring Hye-ran--she's so dull.).
I'll do a separate poll to see who is going to stay for JG.
Bo

Ya know I have been trying to figure out this place JP is talking about. I can't seem to find anything in the yellow pages remotely close. Is this by the Northeastern campus? I wonder about any of the places that advertise during our shows? Would any of these work? Albie email me if you come up with something.

Sorry i can't be more helpful...you'd have to actually go there & find it...i don't think i have time to, unfortunately. It's around the New Outdoor Cafe (3257 W. Bryn Mawr) On the opposite of the street, just east of there. That place seems friendly to English-speakers...i don't know about the other advertisers.

Dear Korean Drama Fans, Instead, why not attend the Korean Street Fest at 3200 West Bryn Mawr (Kimball & Kedzie) on either August 14 or15? Wouldn't that be easier? They will have food and a KBC tent. The site is chicagotraveler.com/chicagofest. I got this info from a drama post a while back. I watch AOW, the Great JangJeum & OMR.

Hey, Amber, you work for the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce? (LOL) As I said on your other post on the OMR board, we'll probably attend this, too, but people want to get together earlier. Nothing worth having is EASY, Amber! Bo

Dear Bo, et al: OK,Ok! Sorry for the redundancy-I only saw post about the K-Fest, not debate about attending. Anyway, for those who do show at the Fest, how about wearing name tags that say "KBC28.tv Fan Board" ? Will make finding each other easier, no? Bo, good sense of humor, I like your "burns". I'm enjoying all the posts; love all the costumes, even the modern Korean dress. Especially like the lack of sleaze, so unlike U.S. shows.

We all appreciate K-TV's lack of US TV show qualities (or lack of quality). Good thing for them we're fans of what's still America's best-kept secret.
