Choi Myonggil? So her role in KBS’ Empress Myeongseong wasn’t the first time she played said historical figure.

It's got Americans in it AND Choi Myeonggil? Stop it, you're killing me! Who do I have to murder to see this thing?
Or if it's 1982, was it lost to the history of erased tapes...I see the network bug is MBC Archives; did the whole thing survive?
Something's odd with the math in the title; the General Sherman was 1866 and Joseon ended in 1910. Hopefully we'll be able to watch it someday and figure it out. Great find.

All episodes are in the Archives, though the episodes are undated. I don't have access to them to ascertain the quality of each episode though, and even then it's likely MBC has a copy that isn't on the Archives.
The math really doesn't line up, but the episode descriptions say that Episode 1 is named "The General Sherman: Part 1" and that the last episode "Korea's first American, Seo Jae Pil: Part 2" ends after the founding of the Independence Club in 1896. Maybe there's some sort of flash forward in the end?
