Eps 1 & 2
Lee Yeon is a 1,000 year old Gumiho. Because he fell in love with a human, he was punished and is now tasked with bringing Gumiho's that eat humans to justice. He awaits the day the woman he loves will be reincarnated to see her again. Nam Ji Ah is a tv producer for a show about urban legends. Ji Ah looks just like Yeon's first love. Yeon saved Ji Ah when she was a child and she recognizes him when they run into each other at a wedding. Ji Ah suspects Yeon isn't human and tricks him into revealing that he's a Gumiho. In exchange for not exposing Yeon to the world, Yeon helps Ji Ah with finding out the truth behind her parents disappearance. Lee Rang is Yeon's half sibling that causes trouble for Yeon.
--------------------------------
This series reminds me of Goblin. The biggest questions going forward would be what happened to Ji Ah's parents and is she really the reincarnation of Yeon's first love. I'll be watching but probably won't be posting about it. If I stick with the series, I'll give my final thoughts when it ends.

Eps 3 & 4
We find out at the end of ep 4 that Ji Ah is the reincarnation of Yeon's first love. Tale of the Nine Tailed has a lot of Korean folk legend thrown in so it can be confusing at times if you're not too familiar with it. It really is like a mini Goblin. So, if you liked Goblin, you'll probably like Tale of the Nine Tailed.

I finished watching Tale of the Nine Tailed. It's your standard fantasy romance. The guy is 1000 years old. The girl is human. They can't be together or people will die. Don't have much else to say about the series. Mostly watched it for Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah. I hate to keep making the Goblin comparison but, if you liked Goblin, you'll probably like Tale of the Nine Tailed.
