Now wait just a doggone minute here...How did Kim Myung's followers organize that insurrection when Kim Woo-jing supposedly killed them all? Good heavens that needs some explanation. Wow. That's awful.
This one was a big step backwards from the previous episode. Can't say much good about it. And way too much Joong-dal. The actor is doing what he can with the character but the way they've written it, he's fighting a losing battle. I guess he's supposed to be the comic relief--maybe some of the Korean audience finds it funny, fair enough--I sure don't.
"This is suspicious. Get them!" Ugh what a terrible line.
Oh goody, they showed the joke assassination scene again. Gee thanks. And for heaven's sakes where are the archers? I keep harping on this but why doesn't anybody in this series ever have a bow and arrow?
Hey look, ask and ye shall receive! JB fired an arrow! Wow! What a concept. One arrow.
"Protect the regent and the lady. Get them!" It's spreading like a virus.
"He is guilty of many wrongdoings, but he is a poor soul. Please entrust him to me. I will make a decent man out of him." That was a very touching, admirable attitude from Mak-bong. Of course it was never gonna work but you couldn't help but be moved by the good intentions.
One thing I wondered about was the blue flag that the ship carrying Madam Jami was waving as it approached the Chunghae dock. Jung Yon recognized it right away. I couldn't find anything definitive online about that kind of a signal...It may be a signal of non-aggression; I also found something that suggested it signals the presence of an important person. Anybody know?
Oh wait, maybe it's the universal sign of another annoying staredown/trash-talk sequence coming up.
"He was a pirate who killed hundreds of innocent people!" THANK you Yon. Thank you thank you thank you. How come he's the only one bothered by that? The mass murderer's continued presence at this point in the storyline is ridiculous.
