A short drama about a high-power celebrity-maker meeting a country girl who lives alone in a mountain. He wants to groom her into a celebrity but she's not interested. He will probably try to convince her and fall for her in the process...?
Episode 1-4
Ohmgosh I just find this drama so funny. The assistant had me laughing so hard. The only thing was that they all talk so fast at first I had to really rely on the subtitles. But after a while I got the hang of it.
I find the lead couple so adorable. I never realized how cute Jung Il Woo is until this drama. Love his voice too. The girl I never saw before but she is very cute as well. When he's climbing the mountain to visit her had me in stitches, so funny.
Very good so far, hope it stays that way.

I was so confused when I started watching this drama, time just flew when watching an episode and then I realized "Oh, the episodes are only 15 minutes long"-- what a relief, I thought the whole night passed when it was only 45 minutes I was laughing to myself when I started watching this: "Wow, Jewel thought Henry was annoying in that other drama and the assistant in this one is crazy" and then tonight I read your post and figured out it must be because they are talking so fast?!?!?? Anyways, this is growing on me although I think these drama writers need figure out some new story lines, rich/poor, city/country, ect. it is getting a bit old.... I did like when he climbed up the moutain, I knew he was gonna get lost, but I was kinda hoping when he was waiting outside her door that he would just fall asleep there and she would find him there and... I don' know...beat him as if he was a stalker/hobo or something (did watch ep1 of "Painter" over the weekend, remembered why I loved it so much, the attention to detail when filming is just awesome-- especially in the painting scenes. Spent half an hour going thru the CD's in my car looking for the OST only to find it tonight in my computer drive -- oh well, least I have it for the drive to work tomorrow.)

I think these drama writers need figure out some new story lines, rich/poor, city/country, ect. it is getting a bit old.... This for some reason doesn't bother me. As long as they are not some long lost true love when they were six or one family member didn't kill the other's family member so they have to be sworn enemies for ever... these themes make me sick and I have to instantly quit. Love story plots are all the same really, it's how it's told that makes the difference and how the characters react within the plot. So far, this drama is working for me.

I watched some more of this tonight and I have to say it is really growing on me now-- so much that when I went to watch an episode of "Oh My Venus" I thought it was so boring I think I just might have to bail on it..... The "crazy" pace of some of the scenes and the talking seems to have slowed done in the last few episodes. which is good because it was making me almost dizzy-- which is easy to do since even riding a merry-go-round made me dizzy I wish the epsidoes were longer, it seems like you just get into it and the episode ends-- like a long comercial break I like the lead actress, she is doing a good job at playing an "innocent" girl without being stupid about it. It cracks me up how the CEO Choi is constantly trying to figure out what is going on between him and the girl, does he want to make her famous, or is he falling in love with her?!?!? He does it in such a way that it is funny, serious and not all all over the top

Episodes 5-8
The whole beginning part where he (still haven't got the characters' names yet!) helps her with the chores in fast motion killed me, it was so funny. Jung Il Woo is so cute when he asks her why she's digging in that one scene when she takes up the shovel. Just the way he asked and his expression were so cute. Also when she comes right out and asks him if he likes her and he asks if she's growing any drugs and that if they're good he'd like to share - I was laughing so much! And the whole nine side-dish thing was hilarious!
Love her sneers when she's watching him, like she's astonished that a person like him exists.
What I didn't love was the ridiculous shorts he wore with his trench coat. No... just no...
This drama is starting to remind me a little of Flower Boy Ramen Shop - both main male characters are going crazy over a girl but he doesn't realize what hit him or how to go about dealing with the whole love thing. Hmm... I guess Jung Il Woo is just good as the befuddled rich poor boy...

Oh yes! The shorts with the trench coat, I was staring at the computer screen because at first I could not beleive he was wearing shorts with the coat! Where did he ever get the idea to wear that?!?! They are both so funny-- she with her "innocence", like when the girl idol asked her "Don't you know who I am" and she looked at her like "so... you are a girl? what else?" The idol girl's reaction was great, too. He, when he is trying to figure out what is going with everything...When he was helping her out at her place...it was hard to tell who is more out of place-- him at the mountain or her in the city The explaination she gave him for the nine-side dish was priceless! and the way he reacted was sooo funny. Really like these episodes-- but I just can't shake the picture of him in the trenchcoat and shorts

The explaination she gave him for the nine-side dish was priceless! I don't know that her explanation was priceless - more like it was just a fact. She served the two men the same number of dishes, it's just that the other guy counted the dishes he shouldn't have as side-dishes. episodes 9-12 Very fun episodes. I was sure when Choi and the assistant were hugging each other to hide from the girls they'd get caught. How embarrassing that would've been! It was also cute to see the girl starting to miss Choi as she was fiddling with her phone wondering if she should call him or not. And it was very funny when she went to put the tablet to her ear like a phone - very cute. Two things I didn't like: I didn't like it when Choi was sitting on his couch watching the girl's hallway on his tv screen. I understand he's concerned for her but I found that a little creepy, a little stalker-ish. I also found that whole music video thingy silly with her just sitting there smiling inanely while the boys sang and danced around her. Boring!!

ok-- so maybe priceless was the wrong word-- I just like the way she stated it, no lies, no excuses, just fact.... I like the "play" with cell phones/tablet in this drama-- the way people are just glued to their phones waiting for a call, a text, something-- drives me crazy, but the way she fiddles with the phone is like half "should I call him?" and half "why do people use these so much?" I agree with the you about Choi watching the girl's hallway-- it was creepy-- I have a friend who's husband's parents went out of town for a month and had neighbors water the plants, keep an eye on the house and her husband hooked up a camera in their house to watch what time they went into the house, where they went in the house, if they watered the plants-- it made my skin crawl just listening to him tell me about it! The music video-- really? She just sits in a chair. doesn't really do anything-- I didnt really get why she was even in it-- I kind thought it looked "dangerous", like they would forget she was sitting there and get so busy dancing that they would knock her off the chair...sounds silly-- but the scene was silly!

Episodes 13-16
I really enjoyed these episodes. But having said that I would've enjoyed them so much better if Choi didn't wear those darn shorts!! What is that?!?! So ridiculous!! How am I supposed to crush on a guy who goes around wearing suit and shorts?!?! Ugh!!!! I tried my best not to look below the waist.
Ok, so the obligatory separation and then reunion. Very nice. It was not too torturous and not too long. The pyschiatrist-friend killed me, he was so funny! I hope shrinks don't really do that - doodle on their notepads and play games on their iPads while their patients are pouring their hearts out - heh heh.
Loved their little conversation while eating their nine-side dish meal. And then his expression when she gets that call from Jang. I started cracking up it was so cute!

Episodes 17-20
Okay, finished the drama. I ended up not liking Director Choi as much as I did in the beginning. I felt in the last few episodes he started being a little bit of a jerk. I really didn't like it when he put his arms around some girl at a party just to try to make Yi Ryoung sad or jealous. I thought that was really mean. And at first I thought he was really cute when he got jealous but later on I felt his jealousy was getting to be a little too unreasonable.
Overall I really did enjoy the short and sweet drama. For what it was it was fine. But towards the end I just didn't understand all the turmoil. I mean he told her he liked her so why not just ask her on a date and go from there? What is the problem? And another thing is yeah he did tell her that he liked her but his behavior towards her afterwards was totally inconsistent, ignoring her and being mean to her. Doesn't he know action speak louder than words?
Anyway everything finally worked out and it was a nice ending. Thought what he said at the end was really cute when he said should they meet in Season 2... so funny.

I finished this last week and was waiting to see your comments, I have to say I liked this a lot more than I did at the begining....I was kinda sad when it ended-- it was just to short to really get into the characters. Although I don't think I will ever get the picture of Director Choi wearing shorts-- it made no sense at all, fashion or otherwise! I liked the ending where he showed up to make sure she was ok, because he knew she didn't like thunder. The season 2 comment made me hopeful-- which kinda shows how much I ended up liking this. Even Director Choi's assistant! Sometimes it is hard to watch a drama where the whole storyline involves two people trying hard to get together and then the drama ends. Neighborhood Hero next???

I'm dying to start Neighborhood Hero, Birdy, but only 6 episodes out. Let's wait till at least 10 or so are out. I'm really liking these short series. I liked One Sunny Day starring So Ji Sub too. Do you wanna try EXO Next Door? That looks quite cute.
