Yes, thanks, Sageuk Lover...they've been slow to show up and are well behind the airings but gradually they're starting to appear. I think MTR posted just before the first few episodes showed up.

Jo Inpyo (Sun Wanrong in KBS Dae Jo Young) has been cast as Kim Deokryeong.
Episode 41 aired today in Korea, which means there are only 9 episodes left to go. But the show is still in the year 1594 and the Imjin War ends in 1598. Are they going to cover the next 4 years in just 9 episodes? Makes me wonder if the show got extended. I'm just hoping they don't go straight from year 1594 or 1595 onto YSS's last battle in 1598 on the last episode.

I've been wondering about that myself; in the US we're barely into 1593 after 32 episodes. KBS World's official page still says 50 total episodes and so does everything else online in Engligh.
They sure did wrap up Jeong Dojeon more abruptly than expected; certainly there was enough material near the end for ten more episodes but they kept it at 50. Looks like the same thing might happen again. Too bad.

I always imagined this guy playing him if Won Gyun was to ever appear He's probably could be fatter, but he's chubby not to mention he's got a resume for playing despicable and cowardly characters.

Oh no, that's horrible news! I love that guy playing those weasely characters! He's so good at them. He was so much fun in JD and was good in DJY as well. Darn, darn, darn, darn. What a loss. And to become a fortune-teller? Ugh! What a waste. I guess actors are flaky everywhere, not just here. Well that just sucks. asianwiki.com/Jung_Ho-Keun

He's also an exorcist, which means he sees, or claims to see ghosts following people and possessing people's bodies. Getting rid of these ghosts is his job now in addition to fortune-telling

Oh, well, my mistake then, I apologize profusely and sincerely. That's much more legitimate and shame on me for suggesting otherwise. Hope he doesn't sue me.

Oh, well, my mistake then, I apologize profusely and sincerely. That's much more legitimate and shame on me for suggesting otherwise. Hope he doesn't sue me. Very funny lol According to his interview, he first started having the power to see ghosts after his daughter died of disease at a young age and his son passed away at just 3 days old. He says he feels it's his duty to help people that are suffering the similar pains as him, because ghosts that stick around or possess people usually tend to be a deceased family member. He feels that it's his job to convince these ghosts to stop messing around and move on to the afterlife. Sixth Sense, anyone?

Wow, that's very sad. The poor guy, to lose two young children like that--the grief must have been unbearable. You do hear about people who process grief in strange ways and this sounds like exactly that. Maybe time will give him a better perspective...but whatever, I just hope he finds some peace in his life.
Anyway thanks for the info about him. He's one of my favorites and I would be hoping for him to show up in every future series if I didn't know about this.

Go Sewon(first historical) has been cast as Yi Yicheom.
BTW, it looks like the show won't be extended after all. We're moving onto 1597 according to preview of Episode 46 , so it looks like they'll cover the the last parts of Imjin War in the last 5 episodes.
