I like your reasoning for "plastic flower" although I've known some one-sided loves that were purty darn genuine...
Episode 14: Just one feeling running through this entire episode - hatred for all the members of the Gook family. And why is YeoJin's mouth so damn UGLY?? And that SeungHyun struttin' into the boardroom like he's all THAT! Well, you ain't, honey!!
That scene when JungWoo finds out about the baby was just so sad...

Episode 14 is going be a tough one to watch as I have been in AeRae situation, losing a child, I cried so much watching it and watching JungWoo listening in on the conservation that I can't really remember much else.... I know you are all about JungWoo but I thought it was kind of neat that SeungHyun stepped up-- he is doing it for ALL the wrong reasons, but it is still good to see him step up and be more than "just an intern", but I am afraid for him and his sister, they are turning out to be ruthless people -- I do not believe it is going to end well for any of them. The only thing I worry about is if/when JungWoo and AeRae get back together what will his family say? They have already voiced a not so nice opinion of AeRae, so I wonder how they will change that around. OK- so I finished EP 14-- realized there are only two more episodes left I think is just going to quickly wrap up and there will basically be a "happily ever after" -- I think JungWoo may end up losing his business-- but it will be ok, because he will end up with AeRae and they will start to build a whole new life together. Maybe she will go to work at the company that she interviewed at and JungWoo can help AeRae's parents at their resturant! . SeungHyun and YeoJin will work together and keep JungWoo's company together. (On a lighter note: that co-worker of AeRae's that has the sore mouth, I just want to yell at him "Just suck it up and go the dentist already"!-- really makes no sense in the story at all)

First of all, I was sorry to hear that you were in similar situation as AeRa. Hope you had loved ones with you to help you through at the times.
Episode 15: well, it was obvious AeRa really loves JungWoo because it really caused her pain to see his cheek red from the slap. The way she kept wanting him to eat was very touching. But I still don't quite understand how divorcing him bCk then was an act out of love. When you love someone aren't supposed to stick by him through thick and thin?? I sort of understand why she feels she should leave him now but I don't understand her action back then.
I could be wrong but the way I saw the in-laws was that they hated her mostly cuz she divorced him and left him. Maybe when they're back together again, they'll relent?? One can only hope. And it's so funny you brought up that guy with the toothache. Could it be for real? That he really suffered this why filming? Otherwise, like you say, it doesn't really make sense.

Haven't watch episode 15 yet, so just a few comments.... My thinking about their divorce was one of two things, 1- she divorced him because he wasn't making any money and I thought she fell for the "geeky" guy because geeky/studious guys usually are successful 2- Maybe she divorced him because she felt it would be "one less mouth to feed", they would survive better on their own. I think you may be right about the in-laws, it just seemed in the recent episodes they were so "snobby" sounding that I just thought it had to be money related. I didn't even think his family was that rich in the beginning and that they became "snobby" when JungWoo's company took off. In these later episodes it seems that JungWoo may have borrowed money to start the company-- which if his family was rich, why didn't he just borrow it from them? Finally, this is a good drama, but I am hesitating on watching the last episode because I want it to keep going on and on.... but I know we have another one to watch, so no worries

Hey Birdy, watched episode 15 yet? Here is my most updated "To Watch" list: The Joseon Gunman (my cutie-pie Lee Joon Gi!) The Princess' Man (have recently discovered Park Si Hoo, so gorgeous!) Cheongdamdong Alice (Park Si Hoo!!) Skip Beat (SiWon and DongHae of Super Junior are in it, although strangely it's a Taiwanese drama) The Night Watchman Love On Surplus Princess Wonderful Days Discovery of Love After I finished "Sly and Single Again" I started browsing for fun and came across "Family Honor"... Have you seen this, Birdy? Ohmgosh, it is sooo good. It has 54 episodes but I didn't realize it when I started watching it and thank gosh I didn't or I never would've started it. Anyway, I'm just loving it. There are lots of little stories in the drama but the main one is just so engrossing. Wow, really good. I am sooo loving this Park Si Hoo actor. He is just too gorgeous for words and his acting is amazing. I remember liking him in "Iljimae" but at the time I was too captivated with the main character that I had no time to spare for the 2nd lead guy but I do remember liking him. Now I found him again and am so happy! He has such beautiful, expressive eyes...! And a gorgeous voice to boot!!

Hi Fiona, I watched ep 15 last night... can't say I like the whole "I'll be the hero" and step out of the relationship-- happens a lot in dramas it seems. I would have like AeRae to quit working for JungWoo's company, work for the other company and maybe became wealthy on her own-- not crazy rich, but just enough to be happy, then they can get back together and no one can say she did it for the money, or to ruin his company, they can then be happy by supporting each other. I don't think the whole "YeoJin's dad invested in the company for his daughter because she needed to fall in love again", was needed. I think YeoJin could have fallen for JungWoo on her own-- but maybe she only got the job because of her dad?? The whole dad character was weird.... I didn't really understand when AeRae made dinner for JungWoo, why she was so picky "Go wash your hands, You sat down don't was your hands, eat bigger portions" -- was she trying to pick a fight? Why did she put medicine on his face if she was trying not to make the relationship work-- He should have just grabbed her and kiss her!! To be so close to her and NOT kiss her, what a waste WHY, WHY, WHY? Did JungWoo send that bear to work!?!??!? How embarrassing! I did like the way JungWoo walked into the office, said AeRae has nothing to do with the mess the company is in and says it is all his fault-- and then bows to all the office workers! I think if my boss ever did that I would just crack up laughing-- I did like the movie scene, I liked the way SeungHyun helped her out by taking her to the movies, and I laughed so hard when he threw popcorn at them! Not too crazy about this episode, bet it will end with a happy ending, but not sure if I like the way it has been going.... (on a side note, I was listening to a SuperJunior song in the car the other day- and my 16 yr old son said he really like the song because of the way they draw out the notes -- or something like that-- he is band, so I wasn't sure what he meant-- just happy he liked it!) (another side note, when I was at work the other day, there was a women there with her two kids, and they were holding penguin stuffed animals, after I helped her, I asked her if she would answer a question for me-- so I asked her what the penguin's name were and she said "Pororo"-- so I said "I thought so" and told her how I love watching K-drams, she asked me what I was watching, I said "Sly and Single" and she knew exactly which one that was and said "Aren't dramas addicting?" and I said "Yes, definitatley!" ) (also watched a short (1 hr 45 min) movie with So Ji Sub today on drama fever called "Always"-- typical story line, but So Ji Sub was a boxer-- so skin, abs, big smile-- on my face!

I watched the last episode tonight, better than I imagined-- wasn't as "sappy" as I thought it might be. I kinda liked that JungWoo went out and started his own company-- he always seemed more like a "hands-on" kinda worker instead of a CEO-type of a guy. I didn't like that he went back and helped his "old" company-- but could certainly understand his logic. Didn't like it ending with JungWoo and AeRae talking about baby names-- too much, too soon. Over all a very good drama-- What's next to watch?!?!? (Double checked your list and I have already seen Cheondamdong Alice- really good) Saw a new drama listing It's Okay, That's love with Jo In Sung, but not all the episodes are out and I know you don't like that

In response to your saying YeoJin could've fallen for JungWoo without her father investing in JungWoo's company: i think the reason the father invested in JungWoo's company was not to have YeoJin fall for him but for JungWoo to fall for YeoJin in return. I think YeoJin fell for him the second she saw him. But of course, the father's plan didn't work.
About AeRa telling JungWoo to wash his hands, then telling him to forget it at dinner: I think that's just her personality (bossy), she wasn't asking for a fight. And did you see whatever she said he was going to do. It was very cute. She was also liking it because she realized she still had power over him, like a wife has over her husband. That scene reminds me of me and my husband. I tend to be a little bossy with him (all right, a LOT) and he is so sweet he pretty much listens to everything I tell him to do. I mean in home things.
I saw "Always" a couple of times a while back (got the DVD) and I think it's a sweet movie. Did you see "Rough Cut"? Didn't love the movie (way too violent for me) but loved So JiSub in it, of course. He looks so cool, all in black. There's a beach scene where he's walking with a girl. I love that scene.
Final episode: I loved the fact that when this time AeRa tells him never to appear before her again he realizes she's all talk. Loved that he knows her well enough now not to take offense in her belligerent rants, that it's because she cares so much. I tell you, I really loved this episode. I found all of it so satisfying. I loved that they needed him at his old company to get out of trouble, loved that he started another company of his own, loved the scene where they're sitting on the swing outside their dream house discussing baby names, and I especially loved the black-and-white scene when they touch hands at the door of her family restaurant. So cute!!!
Did you notice something funny? When they were discussing baby names they used "SangWook" and "MinJung" as possibles. Did you catch that? They're JungWoo and AeRa's real names. Thought that was cute.
If you want to start "It's Okay, That's Love" I don't mind even though the complete drama's not aired yet. I figure it'll all be aired as we watch. I do have to warn you though, Birdy - and please don't take offense - I don't love your Jo InSung. Actually, I don't find him at all attractive. So just be warned, okay? But I do adore Gong HyoJin...
Am loving, loving, loving "Family Honor" - about half way through!! So good. Did you see this one?

Final (?) thoughts: As far as AeRae beung "bossy"--since never had the pleasure of being bossy over my husband, guess it kinds rubbed me the wrong way. Just seemed nick-picky. I may be crazy but when AeRae started to turn JungWoo down, I was soooo excited, just to have a differnt ending was tempting...sorta get tired of the "happy endings" ALL the time! BUT the way the "discussion" was handled, was very well done--so much better than her just saying Yes. After reading your post and thinking on it some more, I guess it was ok for JungWoo to go back and help his old company-- to be it really stresses the point that JungWoo is much better at being an IT- hands on kinda guy and not a CEO stuffed shift. I started "It's Ok, that's love"-- not too sure if I want to stick with it. Do you want to watch ep1 and help me decide? I can agree that Jo Insung is not the best looking guy around here, seems even more so in this drama so far, but he does have great eyes and a nice smile...... Haven't seen Family Honor-- may have to, because Park Si Hoo was in Cheondamdong Alice and I really liked that drama... like you not so sure about 54 episodes....

Birdy, you've got to see "Family Honor" cuz the main story is soooo worth it. Yes, I do get impatient with all the side stories but still am so glad I'm watching it. Park Si Hoo is sensational in it! Ohmgosh, am so crushing on him!! And I love the lead girl too. Very moving story. If you want I'll watch it with you. I don't mind starting over again.
I'll go and watch episode 1 of "It's Okay" right now and let you know what I think...

No problem-- finished ep 1 and I am just not into it, the whole "mental" hospital thing is to rough to watch If Park Si Hoo is in the The Princess Man-- I am happy to watch that as he was in Cheondamdong Alice and that is a favorite of mine, this might be easier than you going back to watch Family Honor?

You will?? Thank you!!
To tell you the truth (don't tell anyone, this is just between you and me), I'm sort of skipping the side stories in "Family Honor" because I just want to see Park Si Hoo. Aren't I terrible? I'm ashamed of myself but can't help it. Will you give me a couple of more days to finish up? Am so addicted I think I'll finish real soon. But if you want to see "Family Honor" I REALLY don't mind re-watching. I think I'm gonna re-watch anyway, sooner or later. But I don't mind "The Princess' Man" either. As long as it's Park Si Hoo.
I tell you, that "It's Okay" really freaked me out. The brother with a fork and the beaten up guy/girl with the crazy family were more than enough for me. Wow!

Let's start with The Princess Man and see how long it takes me to get through that-- if I get more free time than I think I will have, we can watch Family Honor-- BUT you have to promise to watch all of it with me!?! Yeah, 'It's Ok', was just a bit too much for me, too -- enough "crap" in my real life, like to see happy stuff in dramas
