Info on ep 7. Only 1 ep aired this week.Joon Ki conspires with other ministers so their cabinet meeting is cancelled and Yul is humiliated. When Yul returns home he finds Da Jung playing the piano for Na Ra and Man Se. Yul pops some pills and sleeps in his office. Da Jung finds him knocked out, pill bottle on the floor and fears the worst. Thankfully, Yul is just sound asleep. Da Jung apologizes for going into the piano room and playing it for the kids. Once in the car, Yul thinks to himself that Da Jung was wrong for reminding him of his ex-wife. Da Jung goes for a drink with Yul to cheer him up. They run into Scandal News and make a run for it. Once back home, In Ho gives Da Jung a fountain pen as belated Christmas present. Da Jung's dream was to be a writer and he thought the pen might help her get started. She decides to use it to write her daily report on the kids. When Hye Joo hears about Da Jung and Yul's night out, she expresses concern to Yul about him having special regard for Da Jung despite them not being a real couple. In Ho spots Woo Ri with a smartphone in surveillance footage and has Da Jung investigate. She questions Woo Ri about the phone in his room when Yul walks in. The phone was a gift from Joon Ki. All signs point to Woo Ri being the spy. Woo Ri gets a call from Joon Ki about his performance later that evening but Yul answers the phone. He wants to meet with Joon Ki. We see In Ho in the car with Joon Ki. Yul confronts Da Jung for keeping quiet about Woo Ri being a band, the performance and the phone. She's not Yul's real wife or the kids mother. She shouldn't get involved in their family affairs from now on. Yul meets with Joon Ki. Joon Ki attempts to rub Yul's nose in knowing more about Woo Ri than he does. Yul warns Joon Ki not to use his kids to get back at Yul. Na Ra informs Da Jung that Woo Ri ran away. Da Jung goes to where Woo Ri is performing to talk to him. She wants Woo Ri to return home but Woo Ri doesn't think he needs to listen to Da Jung. She's not his mother after all. Woo Ri storms off and Da Jung chases after him. While running after Woo Ri, Da Jung wonders why she's gotten so caught up in the Kwon family affairs. She attempts to cross the street as a truck comes headed straight towards her. Yul shows up at the last second and pull Da Jung to safety. That's when Da Jung realizes everything she's been doing is because of Yul. -------------------------- There's never a dull day in the Kwon household with Da Jung around. The question about her role in the family was bound to come up. Until they do away with the contract marriage, Da Jung won't truly be Yul's wife and the kids stepmom. Da Jung has begun to realize her feelings for Yul. It seems she's felt something for a while now and is just now realizing that it's been her motivation all this time. I believe Yul has feelings for Da Jung too but is fighting it. It seems like he's still scarred by the death of his ex-wife. Yul & Da Jung already bicker like a real couple. It should be easy for them into transition into being a real husband and wife. I like how the bodyguards remarked on how sweet they are together lol. Even the housekeeper seems to be warming up to Da Jung. I agree with Yul that Joon Ki shouldn't bring Yul's kids into whatever issues he has with Yul. In Ho, you ******. I didn't mind him up until this episode. He's working with Joon Ki and crossing some serious boundaries (if the preview is any indication). He's only using Da Jung for his revenge against Yul. If In Ho truly cared about her, he'd leave Da Jung out of it. Yoona won an Excellence award for her role in PM&I and Lee Bum Soo & Yoona were one of 5 couples that got Best Couple at the 2013 KBS Drama Awards. Excellence Award - Miniseries: Im Yoona Best Couple Award: Lee Bum Soo and Im Yoona KBS extended PM&I by 1 episode. It will now be 17 episodes total. The series resumes with episode 8 on Monday, January 6.

Info on eps 8 & 9. Yul injured his hand but otherwise he and Da Jung are fine. In Ho meets Joon Ki. They discuss Yul and Da Jung's contract marriage. In Ho will help Joon Ki take down Yul but wants Da Jung left alone. Reporter Byun and the Scandal News duo follow In Ho and Da Jung to her father's hospital. It seems someone has been asking him questions about Yul and Da Jung. They both warn him about talking to reporters. Forgetting that Da Jung is already married, her father asks In Ho if he's single. In Ho responds that he is but there's someone he likes. Da Jung learns from the doctor that Yul checks in on her father often. Reporter Byun takes photos of In Ho and Da Jung happily playing in the snow. He concludes Yul and Da Jung's marriage is a sham or Da Jung is having an affair with In Ho. Yul and Man Se wait for Da Jung outside. Da Jung reads to Yul while he pretends to be asleep. Yul buys gifts for Na Ra and Da Jung while at a market the next day. Da Jung says she doesn't like childish things and he doesn't give her the hair clip he bought. Yul, Da Jung, In Ho and Hye Joo have a drink. While Da Jung and Hye Joo are getting more appetizers, Hye Joo tells Da Jung that Yul hasn't forgotten his ex-wife. That Da Jung shouldn't feel anything more than respect for Yul. Yul asks In Ho about his brother. In Ho says he's his brother is in the hospital due to a car accident, that also involved the woman he loved. Da Jung asks Hye Joo and In Ho about their wishes for the new year. Hee Joo wants Yul & Da Jung's marriage to end well. Yul says he'll help Da Jung with whatever she wants to do in the future but she's only focused on the present. In Ho plans to confess to the woman he likes. Once outside the room, Hye Joo asks In Ho if he meant Da Jung. Too bad for him she has feeling for someone else. Da Jung goes outside to think. She thinks In Ho is brave for wanting to confess his feelings. She could never confess her feelings for Yul. Yul shows up and she asks him if he still loves his ex-wife. Yul walks away without responding. In Ho then appears. He confesses to liking Da Jung and hugs her from behind. Yul goes into the piano room and we get a flashback of Yul looking at photos of his wife with another man. We don't get to see what Da Jung says to In Ho but now shes back inside and has a drink by herself. Yul finds her knocked out in the kitchen and wonders what to do about her. Reporters gather for a press conference at Yul's residence. Reporter Byun plans to expose Yul & Da Jung's contract marriage in front of everyone. Hee Chul inadvertently prevents him from being able to do so. Da Jung is still hungover and everyone wonders if she's pregnant. Hee Chul grabs the photos of Da Jung and In Ho from Reporter Byun's bag. Da Jung runs into In Ho. Despite the awkwardness between them now, he doesn't regret confessing his feelings for her. Yul and Da Jung share a bowl of noodles. The kids walk in on them and think they're about the kiss. Man Se gossips about it the next day with the bodyguards and the housekeeper. Reporter Byun shows Joon Ki the photos of In Ho and Da Jung on his phone. Joon Ki concludes that must be why In Ho didn't want to involve Da Jung. Hye Joo spots Joon Ki and Reporter Byun meeting at the golf course. In Ho feels someone following him and it turns out to be Hee Chul. Yul goes skating with Da Jung and the kids. Joon Ki and his wife go there after hearing about the Kwon family outing. It's where Na Young, Yul's ex-wife, used to bring the kids. Joon Ki and his wife spot Yul and Da Jung being lovey dovey. Joon Ki realizes Yul has developed feelings for Da Jung and doesn't think it's right that he's forgotten all about his sister, Na Young. Hee Chul asks if In Ho is on Da Jungs side and hands over the photos of In Ho and Da Jung. In Ho arranges a meeting with Joon Ki. Yul attempts to distance himself from Da Jung despite her resistance. Joon Ki sets a trap with Reporter Byun for In Ho and Da Jung. Da Jung receives a text she thinks is from In Ho stating something happened to Yul and goes to the specified location. In Ho shows up and wonders why Da Jung is there. He realizes it's a trap. They attempt to leave without being spotted but run into Reporter Byun and other reporters. They're questioned about why they're there when Yul shows up. Yul says he and Da Jung are there to celebrate their 100th day as a married couple. Outside the hotel, Hye Joo attempts to ask In Ho what's going on but he angrily drives away. Once alone, Da Jung attempts to explain what happened to Yul. He doesn't think she did anything wrong but Da Jung is hurt when Yul mentions being tired of their situation. She tries to say her piece when Yul comes up and embraces Da Jung. --------------------- Love is in the air at the Kwon household. Yul & Da Jung seem to be able to talk about everything else except their feelings for each other. My guess is whatever happened with Yul's ex-wife Na Young is what is preventing him from moving forward with Da Jung. I like their interactions so far but someone is going to have to say Something (Everyday is Girl's Day!) soon. I like how everyone in the house talks about them and their displays of affection. They're a married couple so there's nothing wrong with that. Taemin (Shinee) – Steps (KBS Prime Minister & I OST)

Watched ep 8 today and I think everyone is doing a great job in this series. I don't know if I like the fact that In Ho has confessed his feelings for Da Jung-- there are enough problems with Da Jung and the Prime Minister without bringing in a third person-- at least it is being done "seriously" and not like a teen love story....hopefully the story will become less focused on the "love triangle"-- maybe they are doing it to give the reporters something to report on--maybe TVXQ's "Something" can be added to the OST because Da Jung's 'got that something' that Yul needs! I wonder how much more or how soon information about Yul's wife and In Ho's brother will come out. It is so funny whenever you think Yul or Da Jung will say something (there's that word again!) about the change in their relationship one of them gets angry-- loved the scene when Yul was going to give DaJung the hair clip and she just smashed his plan without knowing it and then he just trashes her hair right and left......

I don't think we need to worry about this turning into angsty melodrama with lots of focus on a love triangle (like When A man Loves). The main couple is set. We're more likely to get relationship building and family healing in future episodes. I'm curious about what they'll do with In Ho and Hye Joo. Joon Ki is married so I don't think he'll be paired with Hye Joo. In Ho hasn't shown interest in anyone besides Da Jung but that's not going to go anywhere. Could they go for an In Ho and Hye Joo pairing? It would make sense to me.
I'm really impressed with the writing duo of Kim Eun Hee & Yoon Eun Kyung. They were the writers for 2 of my favorite dramas, Winter Sonata and Sweet 18 Bride. This is some of their best work in a while.

Yea!!-- another "knov approved" drama -- no wonder I always like the dramas you mention -- Winter Sonata was one of my favorite dramas, loved the OST so much that I bought it. Looks like Sweet 18 is on Drama Fever so I will be watching it soon

I recommend it. You have 2 families that agree to have their grandchildren get married in the future. The families lose touch but the children still go along with said agreement once they are grown up. There's a 10 year age gap between the main characters. The age difference between the actors isn't as big as in PM&I though. DF has it listed as a melodrama but it's actually a romantic comedy.

Finished episode 9 today. I think Yul and Da Jung ae doing an awsome job. I hate the way Joon Ki keeps asking Yul if he forgot his wife Na Young-- she is dead, what does he expect that he doesnt move on at all? If you think about it, it is a strange way to honor your sister by ruining her husband's life. The guy sure is a jerk! Loved the scene with the kids, and them thinking DaJung and Yul were about to kiss and then Man Se telling everyone about it the next day-- two cute kids! Do you think there is a connection between Na Young's death and In Ho's brother? To me it seems obvious, but I don't know if it is because it has been hinted at, or that pictures of them together were shown at some point or that I am just thinking that way..... (off to watch Sweet 18-- nice to have something to watch in between this drams's episodes!)

Info on eps 10 & 11. Yul notices someone hiding in the hotel room closet. It's Joon Ki's wife Yoon Hee and her friends. They thought Joon Ki had rented the room to secretly meet with Hye Joo. Yul kisses Da Jung to shut her up. After it's revealed who is in the closet, Da Jung thinks Yul only comforted and kissed her because someone else was there. The next day In Ho explains to Yul about the photos Reporter Byun took of him and Da Jung. That's why Joon Ki set the trap for In Ho and Da Jung. Yul meets with Joon Ki. He wants Joon Ki to leave Da Jung alone. If Da Jung is Yul's weakness, Joon Ki plans to take use that to his advantage. Yoon Hee and her friends meet with Da Jung. They don't her or Yul to mention to Joon Ki about the hotel incident. One of the friends says they thought Joon Ki was meeting with Hye Joo. Da Jung then meets Hye Joo, who assures Da Jung nothing is going on between her and Joon Ki but she plans to get back at Joon Ki and Yoon Hee. It's the day of the charity bazaar. No one buys Da Jung's dolls. In Ho cheers Da Jung up by taking her to Subway (product placement at its finest). He's willing to go back to being friends with Da Jung or be her guardian angel if that's what she wants. Yul secretly buys all the dolls though his driver and plans to donate them to charity. Hye Joo gets even with Joon Ki and Yoon Hee by meeting with Joon Ki and letting her catch them together. Da Jung and Na Ra follow Woo Ri to a church. Turns out he goes there to sing. Na Ra develops a crush on the pianist. Yul and Da Jung go out to dinner to celebrate their 100th day wedding anniversary. Yul gets up, says some kind words about Da Jung and sings a song for her in front of everyone. Once back home, Yul agrees to do whatever Da Jung asks. She wants to stop doing the daily journals on the children. She wants Yul to keep his new hairstyle. She wants him to let Woo Ri continue singing. Yul then asks Da Jung to move out of the house. She should go stay with her dad. In Ho finds his brother with Joon Ki. In Ho says that his brother is in a vegetative state because of Yul. He doesn't explain how it happened. We get a flashback of In Ho urging his brother to end things with Na Young. We see a car drive off the road and fall down a hill. It's the car accident involving Na Young and In Ho's brother. The police tell In Ho that Yul's car was behind them. Hye Joo attempts to fill in for Da Jung but Man Se is having none of it. Da Jung's dad doesn't believe that Da Jung is there to take care of him. He thinks Yul and Da Jung fought. Da Jung is curious about whatever In Ho is planning but doesn't think it's something good. In Ho tells Da Jung to focus only on her dad. Da Jung's father goes missing. Da Jung looks everywhere for him and even goes to Yul's house. In Ho finds her dad and brings him there. Da Jung's dad wants to talk to Yul and him and Da Jung. Yul assures his FIL that everything is fine between him and Da Jung. They get help from the children who mention seeing them kiss. Yoon Hee and her friends go to an internet cafe and post that Hye Joo is a homewrecker on the internet. Hye Joo confronts Joon Ki about the posts. He then confronts his wife about it and asks her not to do anything like that again. Prosecutors are looking into Yoon Hee's father's connection to a port construction project. Joon Ki asks if he's doing this to get even with him and assures him that Yoon Hee's father won't take Yul's interference lightly. Da Jung overhears Yul talking to Hye Joo in his study. Hye Joo wants Yul do admit that he is trying to protect Da Jung from Joon Ki because he loves her. Yul responds that Da Jung is caught up in all this because of him and he's only doing what he should. Yul asks Da Jung to stay at the house from now on. Da Jung agrees to do so because she has her own reasons for being there and that Yul needn't feel sorry for her. Da Jung takes her back to the hospital. They hear about protesters gathering outside Yul's office. Da Jung decides to go there. Yul meets with the protesters outside. A man comes up, stabs Yul in the stomach and runs away. Yul collapses to the group. A panicked Da Jung runs to her husband's side. ---------------------- I really liked the scene at the restaurant at the end of ep 10. What Yul said about Da Jung and the song were sweet. It was one of the nicest K-Drama moments I've seen in a while. With the positive out of the way... Damn it. I hated most of ep 11. It's the part in K-Dramas right before feelings are out in the open. That's when most major misunderstands happen. People do incredibly dumb things. We get the obligatory "I'm pushing you away to protect you" moment. Why does Yul have to push Da Jung away? He is the prime minister. If he can't protect his own wife, why should we expect him to be able to do anything for anyone else? I'm glad Da Jung's dad got involved and she returned home. It's kinda sad that Yoon Hee would get happy just because Joon Ki called her by name. Just goes to show you how ****** up their marriage really is.

Info on eps 12 & 13. Yul recovers after in the hospital after being stabbed. Da Jung watches over him. Hye Joo accuses Joon Ki of being behind the attack on Yul. Joon Ki assures her he had nothing to do with it. Joon Ki discovers the connection between In Ho's brother and Na Young. He confronts In Ho about it. In Ho says that Na Young was in love with his brother. Joon Ki wonders if Yul was behind her accident and asks In Ho bring him any evidence he has on Yul. Yul goes to church with Da Jung and the kids. After hearing Woo Ri sing, Yul decides to let continue singing. He can rejoin his band if he does well in school. Outside the church Na Ra runs into some girls from school. They try to pick a fight with Na Ra but Da Jung intervenes. Na Ra introduces Da Jung as her mom. Yul confesses to Da Jung later that he didn't want Woo Ri to sing because his ex-wife was a musician. Everyone is surprised when Joon Ki resigns from his post. He did so as a way for someone to take responsibility for what happened to Yul. While at their alma mater with Yul, Hye Joo confesses to liking Yul and resigns from her position as chief secretary. In Ho thinks he sees someone that looks like Na Young at his brother's hospital. He tries to get out of his car and get a closer look at her but is blocked by other cars. Yul is still saddened by Hye Joo's resignation when he returns home. He asks Da Jung to give him advanced warning before she leaves. It would be too sad if he only found out until the last minute. Da Jung responds that that would never happen. She has no plans of leaving because she loves Yul. Da Jung insists she's serious but Yul tells Da Jung not to joke about love. Da Jung tries to persuade Hye Joo to come back but nothing doing. Yul tells Da Jung about his ex-wife at his alma mater. Na Young was in love with another man and was going to leave Yul & the kids. He blames himself for her death. He doesn't have the confidence to love anyone ever again. Hye Joo drinks with Joon Ki. She then makes plans to meet with In Ho. When Joon Ki mention In Ho's brother and the hospital, Hye Joo becomes suspicious that they might be working together. Yul goes away on work but Da Jung & the kids follow him. In Ho gets a call from the hospital about the volunteers and heads back. He tells Yul he's trying find someone who was presumed dead. Da Jung tells Yul she understands his pain is because of his ex-wife. She has no plans to run away and hopes he won't either. The next day Da Jung tells a thinkative Yul on the beach that he doesn't need to move. Just allow her to stay beside him. In Ho follows a lead back to a woman's shelter. It turns out Na Young is alive after all. Yul runs into Joon Ki and Hye Joo at the Blue House. Joon Ki was given a new post and Hye Joo is his new secretary. In Ho finally appears at the house later that night and speaks with Da Jung. He says he was wrong but we don't get to find out what he means. Yul informs Da Jung that Hye Joo is now working for Joon Ki. They both conclude that she must a special reason for switching sides. Da Jung reads to Yul. They both asleep. The next day we see Na Young outside Yul's house. When Da Jung and Yul wake up, he confesses to liking Da Jung and vows not to let go of her hand. ---------------------------- It took a while to finally get love confessions out of Yul & Da Jung. I don't like that Na Young is alive. I wish she would have remained dead. She's a big obstacle the main couple don't need. The kids were warming up to Da Jung. Na Ra even called her mom. Not stepmom but mom. Hye Joo clearly went to work for Joon Ki to find out what he's up to. I'm glad that Yul & Da Jung both realized that she wouldn't have done that for no reason.

Finaly all caught up-- and first of all, I am not happy that NaYoung is alive, more drama that this drama does not need! The only thing I would be ok with is if it freed up Yul from his guilt about his wife so that DaJung and him can be together. I really like the way Yul brought DaJung to the places he went with his wife and tried to explain to her why she was not really in love with him-- it was very well written and acted. I liked that DaJung brought the kids to the beach when Yul went on the business trip as if to show him that he can work and be a good dad -- something I don't think he really did before. I also liked the scene on the beach when DaJung told Yul to just stay there and she would stay by his side-- says volumes about the couple with very few words It'll be interesting to see what HyeJo finds out while working for Joon Ki. On a side note-- Joon Ki's wife looks really familar-- do you remember her from other dramas? She's great.... Also, I have watched 4 episodes of "Sweet 18" and the main actress was in "Summer Scent" one of my other favorite dramas-- and I am enjoying it, so thanks for the sugestion

She's been in several daily dramas but you probably remember her as Da Ran's mom in Big. I'm glad you're liking Sweet 18. I like the club scene in ep 4. Since there's no thread for Sweet 18, feel free to post any thoughts on it here.

Info on eps 14 & 15. Now that they're officially a couple, Yul & Da Jung are a bit awkward around each other. In Ho is sick in bed. We get a flashback of his convo with Na Young. She says the car accident was her fault. Na Young was planning on leaving for the US with In Ho's brother, Su Ho. He changed his mind and wanted her to return home. Na Young didn't want to. She attempted to jump out of the car, causing him to lose control of the wheel. The car went off the road and down a hill. A concerned Da Jung goes to check on In Ho. Joon Ki is suspicious of Hye Joo but allows her to continue working for him. Hye Joo warns Yul to be careful with In Ho. Yul & Da Jung visit her father. Yul wants to take him to live with them. In Ho meets with Na Young again at the hospital. In Ho asks her to stay away from Yul & the kids. She promises to do so but wants to continue looking after Su Ho. Yul wanders into Su Ho's room and recognizes him. Despite of Hye Joo's warning and knowing In Ho is Su Ho's brother, Yul decides to trust In Ho after talking with Da Jung. Yul tells Da Jung that he wants to get married to her again. For real this time. When Woo Ri and Na Ra, Woo Ri mentions to Da Jung that he thought they were being followed. She goes to pick up Man Se from kindergarten and runs into Na Young. Da Jung recognizes Na Young and goes after her but Na Young is able to hide. Da Jung calls In Ho and says she saw Na Young. He's meeting with Hye Joo and she overhears their conversation. In Ho is forced to spill the beans about Na Young being alive. Yul is waiting for Da Jung at the church they got married at. They're supposed to renew their vows. A distraught Da Jung shows up late, walks right into his arms and Yul quickly realizes something is seriously wrong. Yul thinks Da Jung is sad because things are happening so quickly. They put off getting married until later. Hye Joo goes to Yul's house to tell him about Na Young but can't bring herself to do it. In Ho and Hye Joo both agree that keeping quiet about Na Young is their best option for now. Joon Ki wants the president's support to oust Yul as prime minister. In Ho meets with Da Jung. He confirms Na Young is alive. She concludes that In Ho's brother was Na Young's lover and In Ho was planning on getting revenge on Yul. In Ho says the accident was a misunderstanding. Da Jung wants to meet with Na Young. He doesn't think it's a good idea. Joon Ki's secretary informs Joon Ki that Hye Joo met with In Ho and went to Yul's house. He doesn't think she can be trusted. When Joon Ki questions Hye Joo about leaving work early, she lies and says she wasn't feeling well. He knows she's lying. Joon Ki wants to re-open the case of Na Young and Su Ho's car accident. Joon Ki catches Hye Joo in his office. He hands her papers calling for Yul's removal as prime minister. In order to stop him, Hye Joo comes clean about Na Young being alive. Da Jung meets with Na Young. Da Jung thinks Na Young should return home. Da Jung is willing to step aside. Na Young doesn't want to. Joon Ki & Hye Joo go see Na Young. It's a tearful family reunion. The next day the proposal to remove Yul from his post is about to discussed in congress. Joon Ki wants to stop it. Da Jung arranges a meeting for Yul & Na Young. They're both surprised to see each other. Na Young says she thought she was meeting Da Jung and quickly leaves. Yul tries to chase after Na Young but she's long gone. Da Jung leaves the house. Woo Ri calls Yul and tells him that Da Jung left to go stay with her father. Yul goes to the hospital and runs into Da Jung outside. She doesn't want to go back home but he grabs her hand and proceeds to drag her towards the car. ------------------------ Maybe I should have saved the So Ji Sub gif for this week. The last couple of eps have been rather predictable. In Ho meeting with Na Young and asking her to stay away. Na Young agreeing to do so, only to break her word shortly after. Da Jung being the one to see Na Young and attempting to step aside so Na Young will go back. The arranged meeting for Yul and Na Young. I'm just glad this all went down in 1 episode and didn't get dragged out any longer. I just wish Yul and Da Jung could have been happy, with their feelings out in the open, for more than 1 episode. As I mentioned before, I would have preferred for Na Young to have actually been dead. This is an extra complication that the main couple don't need. PM&I was sold to us as a happy family drama and Da Jung coming to the Kwon household like a Christmas present. While I still believe Yul & Da Jung will end up together, the series has gotten away from what made it fun to watch and relied on the usual K-Drama cliches the last few eps. Yoon Gun - I Love You To Death (KBS Prime Minister & I OST) The Barberettes - Sweet Lies (KBS Prime Minister & I OST) Watched a couple more eps of Sweet 18 and I was wondering if you know where I can find the english lyrics to the opening song? I tried Youtube, and Google but no success. Not a major thing, the song is catchy, so I thought I would like to know what they are singing.....thanks! No sorry but I don't.

Despite not having Da Jung in his life for that long, Yul misses having her around. Woo Ri, Na Ra and Man Se run into Na Young at the hospital. Na Ra remarks that she looks like their mom. Woo Ri answers that their mom is dead. If she were alive, she would have come looking for them a long time ago. When Yul and Da Jung return to the hospital, her father won't take up. Da Jung gets the doctor who is able to stabilize him. Na young tells Joon Ki and Yoon Hee how Woo Ri treated her at the hospital. Yoon Hee wonders if Yul told the kids about Su Ho. Yul stays with Da Jung at the hospital overnight. The next morning Da Jung's father asks the doctor how much time he has left to live and guesses he doesn't have much time left given her lack of response. While looking for a pen to write in his journal, Da Jung's father comes across her journal and reads it. He confronts Da Jung about the contract marriage and Na Young being alive. Da Jung apologizes for lying but says that her and Yul love each other now. Da Jung's father blames for the whole thing. Na Young accuses Yul of snitching to the kids about Su Ho. He responds that he hasn't said anything. The kids just need time. Da Jung's father writes a message for Da Jung in her journal. The next day he wants Da Jung to take him outside and passes away while sitting in a wheelchair. In Ho's brother Su Ho wakes up. Yul and the kids pay their respects to Da Jung's father. Yul and Joon Ki arrange to have Na Young meet with Woo Ri. Na Ra and Man Se can see her when they are older. Yul tells Joon Ki not to make the mistakes as him and neglect his loved ones. Da Jung is going on a trip and leaves a box with the Scandal News duo. In Ho informs Yul of Da Jung's plans. Yul doesn't want her to go but has no plans to stop her from leaving. Hye Joo resigns as Joon Ki's secretary and has her own plans. Yul and Da Jung talk during their last night at the house. If their fated to meet again and start anew, Da Jung will hold on to his hand then. A year passes by. Hye Joo is a newly elected official. Yul is planning on running for president. He asks for Joon Ki's help, who offers to secretly help him. Just then Yoon Hee appears with her and Joon Ki's baby daughter. Da Jung is back from her trip for the anniversary of her father's death. She wrote a children's book while she was away. She gets the box from the Scandal News team and finally reads the message her father left in the journal. He wants her to be happy with Yul and smile. Yul is waiting to be interviewed by Reporter Byun but he's running late. In Ho moves up the next interview. Da Jung shows up to interview Yul. She's working on a new book titled Prime Minister & I. She asks for Yul's help. They introduce themselves and shake hands. The end. -------------------------------------------- UGH. That's it? That's how they chose to end the drama? Yul & Da Jung were already married prior to this but all we get is reintroductions and a handshake? This is why I dislike K-Drama endings so much. You can take something enjoyable and toss it down the drain in an instant. It was a mistake for Na Young to be alive. Her return sucked all the life out of Yul & Da Jung's relationship. I'm seriously disappointed because this was one of the better romantic comedies I've watched for 14 episodes. The last 3 episodes were a failure in storytelling of BIG proportions. It might be a while before I watch another RomCom or another drama not starring So Ji Sub. I'll post some final thoughts later this week.

I always wondered why at times I am so sad when a drama ends and you sum it up perfectly-- take something enjoyable and toss it down the drain in an instant --- take 14 episodes to tell a story and then just let it fall apart, I wasn't sure if DaJung and Yul would end up together, her leaving in the end to travel/write a book could have been beleivable, time to explore- try new things, ect., but I did think they were in love and would get back to together to stay. Did not like the way they did it-- with a hand shake, though. I think there was enough hardship in their relantionship with his kids, his job, with Joon Ki, Hye Jo, In Ho with out bringing Na Young back. The things I liked at the end was: when the kids met with DaJung's dad and brought presents, when Woo Ri saw his mom at the hopistal and told his siblings "that it couldn't be their mom since their mom was dead"-- his look and tone of voice was perfect-- she deserved his "anger", the way In Ho explained his brother waking up as a gift from DaJung's father. Waiting to see your final thoughts..... (I finished "Sweet 18" yesterday and liked it a lot. It was a little "silly" at times, but I know that was part of the charm of the story. Loved that none of the young adults seem to have any idea on how to have a relationship and/or fall in love, pretty funny. I have seen the "grandpa" in other dramas and I always like his characters. Thanks again for the suggestion)
