From Sherlock’s point of view, the Master’s rescue of Minyoung looks pretty suspicious, even after he sees the scalding burn the Master got as a result. The three fruitlessly squabble and Chef Mijin nearly walks in on them. Minyoung has just about managed to shuffle her out when a noise is made by the hiding men, so Sherlock pops up and pretends he’s Minyoung’s boyfriend. Later, Sherlock pouts as Minyoung solicitously walks the Master to his car. However, Sherlock and Minyoung end up in playful fisticuffs while the Master spies from the street.
The next day, Mijin is pleasantly surprised by Minyoung’s soup. Later, when Minyoung chews Mijin out for being closed off to love and praises baker Darin, Mijin decides to promote Minyoung from unpaid intern to paid associate chef. (“You know what? You’ve got SPUNK!”) Minyoung runs to the Master with the happy news. While she’s there, Thug #1 threatens the Master so he’ll be forced to attend the taping with Minyoung--presumably to promote the Thug Agenda for Master Love. Eugh, that sounds, oh, just eugh. I should start calling him the Maestro instead.
Moojin and Arang break into the secret room of Mijin's "scandal chef," Chef Yeom. They find a notebook of recipes, including a recipe called “Crab Barbados.” When Mijin comes to Darin’s (live) taping, he rather disturbingly brings up the rumors that she stole a recipe from Yeom. Then he calls out the very man as a guest star. An arrogant Yeom talks down to Mijin, accusing her of theft. He says his secret recipe is based on Crab Barbados, from the Barbados Islands. With coaching from Sherlock, Darin reveals that this Barbados is someone’s name, why doesn't Yeom know that? For some reason, the DAC team scrambles the signal, so the TV production team goes to commercial, during which Darin waves the recipe notebook in Yeom’s face. He says, this is Mijin’s recipe notebook (where Crab Barbados appears), why was it in your kitchen? He makes Yeom promise to reveal the truth and save Mijin’s reputation. Yeom grabs the notebook and stomps out, with Darin yelling that he has a copy of the whole thing so don’t think you can wiggle out of it, and the two Thugs having to be evicted from the audience because they are filming this and shouting threats at Yeom. Darin tells Mijin he’s her airbag. She punches him. The audience sighs romantically. Darin and Mijin finish the show, and her final scene is a big kiss for Darin. Awww.
It is a dark and stormy night. Outside Theater Cyrano, the Maestro and Thugs spot a strange, brooding girl watching the building all night. Next morning, when Minyoung (who stayed in the theater overnight) comes to the restaurant for breakfast and feels a sudden gloom, the Maestro points out their new client. She resembles Lydia Deetz and has one eye covered by a curtain of hair, through which she, apparently with success, eats, drinks and breathes.
Sherlock, however, has awakened to find he’s started a new “unlucky period.” He has 20 days of bad luck after every 431 days. Minyoung initially scoffs, but has to admit he certainly is having some bad luck. She points out their new client (who is hanging around the Maestro’s restaurant), but Sherlock insists they can’t take on a client right now. Someone rings the doorbell, and when Minyoung tries to go to the door, Sherlock shoves her and the two end up in an awkward embrace on the couch, embarrassed. Unfortunately, the person who walks in isn’t freaky girl. It’s Yiseol—Sherlock’s first love.

So, how funny was it that Chef Maestro had his butt up on the stove where boiled the pot that so tragically caused a burn on his arm? Priceless. And Mijin’s prissy, “Keep the kitchen pure” LOL. I don’t think that’s what SHE did.
They said the notebook was Mijin's notebook, so why did they let Yeom walk off with it? I was puzzled by this. Also, I've watched Korean talkshows and cooking shows and game shows. I've NEVER heard such a silent audience. It was distracting, I was expecting a lot of Ooohs! Ahhhs! and nervous girly giggles. Even when I said, "the audience sighs romantically," I could SEE that, I could not hear it. This made Darin's show seem like it tanked. I mean, she KISSED him on air, and nobody did a thing! The show was called Recipe Romance for gawd's sake! And the audience was full of GIRLS. Puhlease.
One thing I've been meaning to bring up. The name of Darin's bakery is "Tous le Jours." This is also one of the sponsors of this drama. I assume it's a big chain, I've seen it elsewhere. I think this is stinky. Darin is a chef. He'd have his own place.
If anyone knows the name of the actor who is playing Chef Yeom, I'd appreciate if you'd tell me. This is one of tvN's "Oh! Boy" series, which are supposedly "star-studded," so I assume he's somebody. FOUND HIM! And as a result, I found an Im Chae-moo comedy I didn't know about--Unstoppable Marriage! Whoo-hoo! You can't watch it anywhere except possibly Veoh! Boo-hoo!
