I Summon You, Gold! / Gold, Appear! (weekend drama)

This one just started this weekend on MBC and it's subtitled. Runs at around 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. 50 episodes so it should go into December. Just happened to stumble upon the first episode. Anybody know anything about this one? Like, is it any good? It started running in April in Korea so maybe somebody knows something about it....

I'm not much for the contemporary dramas but I spotted Choe Myeong-Gil, who was Queen Wongyeong in GKS. She was so good in that one, I'd watch her read a newspaper. Curious to know if it's worth watching this just to see her performance.

Also has a guy named Han Jin-Hee who was in The Road Home and must have a monopoly on the family-head/dad roles. And now that I look, the grandma seemed familiar and that's Mrs. Guk from The Road Home. Also King Bojang from DJY. And the dowager empress from the first few episodes of Iron Empress. And one of the ministers from GKS, although I didn't recognize him. Geez, I may have to keep watching this just because I know so many of these people.

Also the actress who played Gyebaek's wife in Great King's Dream...which is still running but since she got offed, obviously she's free to do this one now.

I noticed Kil Yong-Woo right away and sighed remembering the touching scene with Lee Jang-woo in the drama Here Comes Oh Jae Ryong. Funny how you think about characters after a drama is finished.

Now that I know the schedule I will look out for this one and see if it will get me hooked.
