Young wants to head back. Soo wants to spend the night at the villa and return the next day. Soo understands if Young is furious with him. She must be hurting from his deception. He wants Young to know that his love for her is sincere. Soo and Young sleep in the same room. Young wakes up in the middle of the night and gives Soo some of her covers and touches his face while he sleeps. Moo Chul and his thug buddies go to Jing Sung's family restaurant. He says he's just there to eat and not cause trouble. He leaves after Jin Sung punches him. Soo and Young leave the villa. Soo wants to spend the day with Young. He'll take her home at night. Soo lets Young call Lawyer Jang. She gives him a set of instructions and says she'll be home later. Lawyer Jang gives the maids the rest of the day off. Soo and Secretary Wang will both be leaving the house.
Soo and Young are at a market. Soo shares a story about how he used to fastest eater from all the kids at the orphanage. He didn't believe the director who told him no one would steal his food. Young thinks Soo was like him. She always worried someone would poison her food or push her down the stairs. Soo and Young eat red bean porridge. Young doesn't want hers so Soo offers it to a 7 year old boy. Young doesn't understand what Soo is up to. He just wants to spend more time with her. He's never had to say goodbye to anyone. He never had to with his mom or Hee Joo. He's not sure how to say bye to Young. Young responds that saying "goodbye" would have worked too. Soo gets a text from Moo Chul. Soo doesn't have many days left.
Jin Sung meets with Boss Kim. Jin Sung wants to set up a game with Soo and hopes that Boss Kim won't interfere. Boss Kim has a plan to get rid of Soo and Moo Chul. Soo takes Young back home. Lawyer Jang, Secretary Wang and Myung Ho are there waiting for her. Those that are leaving the house should pack their belongings. Young sits down with Myung Ho and Lawyer Jang. She apologizes to Myung Ho for calling off the engagement. She'll have Lawyer Jang endorse Myung Ho to be the next chairman of PL Group. Lawyer Jang then speaks with Soo and Secretary Wang. Lawyer Jang gives Soo the $7 million he needs. Young won't be saying goodbye to Soo. He should pack his bags and leave immediately. Soo goes to Young's room one final time.
Secretary Wang gets to keep the company shares she has. She's no longer Young's legal guardian. Young asked Lawyer Jang to cover up Secretary Wang's embezzlement and the cause of Young's blindness. Secretary Wang isn't ready to accept her fate. She sits down with Young and tries to convince her to keep her around. She raised Young like she was her own daughter. She stopped stealing money once Young took over the company. She only took the money out of resentment towards Young's father. She didn't pull the plug on Young's father. It's what he wanted. Dr Hyun is the only other person that knows about it. She didn't tell Young so she could use her hatred towards Sec Wang as motivation to live on. Young isn't buying it. She thanks Sec Wang for raising her well. After the surgery, Young doesn't to see her anymore. Unable to convince Young, Sec Wang decides to leave. A mother gives up when she loses to her child. A crying Sec Wang packs her things.
On Soo's way back downstairs from his room, he runs into Young. He hopes her surgery goes well. Young hopes Soo will stop feeling guilty about Hee Joo's death and get over his hatred of himself. Despite everything, Young still loved him. Soo leaves the money behind. Lawyer Jang asks him why. Soo says he only needs some of it. He asks Lawyer Jang to take good care of Young. As Soo drives along, he remembers the good times with Young. When Young opens her bedroom window, she discovers that Soo put the bell back up. Soo meets with Moo Chul and pays off Jin Sung's debt. He still has time to pay off his own debt. Soo then meets with Jin Sung's father. Soo sold his car and gave the money to him. It's so Jin Sung's family can move to the countryside. Jin Sung's father wants Soo to come with them.
The next morning Sec Wang calls Joong Tae, his wife and Mi Ra over for breakfast. They're now responsible for looking after Young, along with the maid(s). Sec Wang finally leaves. She's returning home. She asks Lawyer Jang for regular updates on how Young is doing. Sec Wang has trouble finding her way. She asks her sister (I think) for her parents address. Young goes in for more tests. She eats ice cream with Lawyer Jang. Soo sleeps for a whole day at Hee Soo's place. Hee Soo isn't happy that Soo sold his car. She concludes that he left Young's house without any money. Jin Sung meets with Soo in the park. His family is moving the countryside. His mom saved up some money and plans to send his sister Jin Mi to college. Soo plans to enter a card game to pay off his debt. He wants Jin Sung to leave with his family. Jin Sung won't leave without Soo.
Young knocks over a glass in her room and injures her foot. Lawyer Jang scolds the maid for not doing as Sec Wang instructed. Young aks about Sec Wang. Lawyer Jang says Sec Wang returned home and is doing well. Soo and Jin Sung are having trouble setting up a game because of Boss Kim. Soo meets up with Boss Kim. Soo will let Boss Kim set up the game if he leaves out Jin Sung. Soo knows the game will be rigged. Whether he wins or not, he'll become the primary target for the others who were conned. Boss Kim says Soo's debt will be cleared if he wins. Boss Kim will take care of Moo Chul himself. After Soo leaves, Boss Kim tells one of his henchmen that Soo will be dealt with by either Moo Chul or Jin Sung. Soo texts Moo Chul to warn him about Boss Kim. The debt has been settled. Moo Chul doesn't need to deal with Boss Kim anymore. They should meet for a drink at some point. Young sits at home watching a movie. She remembers watching the same movie with Soo. Soo tries to hail a cab. The bell on his bracelet grabs his attention. He chooses to walk instead. Both Soo and Young begin to cry.
