Maybe I'm not giving Hajong the credit he deserves?

eeek - HAJONG - His voice alone sets my teeth on edge . . Sanak - I just want to smack him with a rock or something soft like that.

KIKIKI... They are both hilarously annoying, but I think Santak's silly face has the edge. I do like Hajong, the guy who plays him suits the role to a T.

What, no nomination for Misaeng? The first time I watched this, I thought he was the most annoying character with that laugh of his. However, having watched the actor do a great job in another show since then, I don't find him so bad now. People in the show are always commenting on how Mishil is such a great judge of talent. Too bad she can't pick her relatives the way she picks others. I'm going to vote for Santak because the actor played an even more annoying character in Emperor of the Sea. Two strikes against you, bud.

I think Misaeng is one of the best characters. I think that guy carries it off pretty darned well...different strokes I guess. ;D

Misaeng, he definitely can be annoying, but usually he's been more weasely than annoying so I left him out. Plus, one thing I always remember about the guy is that when Deokman saved everybody's butt by making that curry rice for the foreign dignitaries, he gave her a bag of money to reward her. He didn't have to do that--it was a class gesture. And it made him a more interesting character, like there's some depth to him that we don't see. Hajong, he's just a colossal weenie.
You guys are right, they're both cast very well.

I'm gonna go with Seokpum. Santak and Hajong are annoying but Seokpum irks me more than them.

Chicken Man is so obvious, DYC--I may rechristen you The Obvious DYC...you know, like those rapper fellows. LOL.
BTW, most "men" don't know what a washing machine sounds like, as far as I've noticed. Yeah, I've got a MILLION OF 'EM! (Jokes, or what I think passes for jokes.)

PS - did I just earn a place on the Annoying List?

Two other interesting choices. Bidam, at times definitely very annoying. But he does have his uses and has come in handy, so I gave him a pass. (Plus, the Weird Guy phase was great.) Seokpum, I've always found him more aggravating than just merely annoying. What a toady. But okay, he deserves consideration too.
And now I'm even more conflicted because Santak showed some real spine in Ep50. Deciding to stay and die with honor rather than run away...it doesn't really make him any less annoying (Does it?) but you have to give him big-time credit for it.

Yes, I agree, Santak revealed some hidden depth. But he's still annoying.

I voted for Hajong but I think Seokpum was much more annoying and aggravating. I actually cheered when he died although it didn't make sense for him to do it since he was leaving behind his whole family.

That's a very good point--he would get all choked up about how much his position helped his family financially. He forgot about them? And he was having some doubts about Mishil in the previous episode, too. So it was awfully foolish to make that suicide attack.
