Wow. I had never heard of Princess Deokhye. What a heartbreaking story. Her husband So Takeyuki was the direct descendant of So Yoshitoshi. (Left) So Takeyuki (Direct descendant of So Yoshitoshi) (Right) Princess Deokhye (Descendant of Seonjo)

There is a somewhat new film about Yonsan titled The Treacherous, seems like Caligula may be a bigger influence than actual history sadly.

Just watched Empire Of Lust aka Age Of Innocence ..
First terrible subs (the Christmas King .....really ), history is thrown out of the Window, its a total bodice sorry hanbok ripper, but its beautifully filmed, Jang Hyuk is great as Bang Won. If you look at it as "The Tudors Go To Joseon" in so much as its in the same style as that series or The White Queen, than it will be highly enjoyable.

Directed by Lee Jae-han....didn't we just talk about a drama that had a character with the same name?
Hopefully, this film will be Inchon done right (for those unaware, there was a film in 1981 called Inchon, starring Laurence Oilivier as MacArthur, and directed by the guy who did the early 007 films) Never saw the film Inchon, but it was described as one of the worst movies ever made-in fact, there's no home release for it.

Wasn't Namhansanseong a novel written by Kim Hoon (who wrote Song of the Sword, which was one of the books that served as a basis for IYSS) and a musical?

Recently watched The Wailing 2 times with the second time being today and the 1st one the week before. It is the creepiest and the freakiest horror movie I've ever watched. I don't believe in anything supernatural, but boy this movie is creepy as hell. All the scary scenes from the movie continuously pop into my head. Hope I can go to sleep tonight. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wailing_(film)
