That's too bad.
Frankly I think it's easier to tell these battle stories in context of a series--especially a story like an Imjin War battle that has so much context and pre-story to it. It gives the battle so much more meaning and impact than just a one-off presentation.
Anyway, you guys reminded me that I still have to sit down and watch Parasite. And for that matter I never finished The Throne. Gotta do that.

Also recommend the movie that I posted above(Decision to Leave) if you are going to watch Parasite. The directors of Parasite and Decision to Leave are probably the two best directors in the Korean film industry. I'm sure Korean film fanatics out there all heard of their names. If you're watching "The Throne", I also recommend watching "The Fortress" as well. The Fortress is on Netflix, so it's easy to find the movie. |

Never seen a Korean musical film before.
Seen on stage musicals though.
looks like itβs also an Ahn Junggeun story
Sick trailer.
Looks like the same old story Iβve seen before, though the musical element will make it stick out.
Was completed in 2019 but the pandemic delayed it.
Gotta say, this feels more like a really well made music video than a film trailer.

Synopsis: A rich playboy who cannot care less that Korea was colonized falls head over heels in love with a beautiful independence fighter.
Not a new film, but recently watched this film and really liked it.
Park Hae-il(Yi Soonshin in film Hansan: Rising Dragon) as Lee Haemyeong, a playboy who works for Japanese colonial government
Kim Hyesoo as Jo Nanshil, an independence fighter

Just hope they donβt repeat plot points like the last film did.
And this is probably the third time I watch Chen Lin start off as hostile towards Yi Soon Shin only to come around to liking him.
