Oh ye of little... Never mind.
And I think you are in for a disappointment, as it says:
"A fiction historical about a guru near the power of the late Goryeo times which declined in fate, putting hero Lee Seong-gye in charge of founding the Chosun."
I think that might be straight from google translator.
But...Ji Jin-hee! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Yes, I squealed like a little child. ;D

Ji Jin Hee is an odd choice. BTW, has this guy played anti-hero roles before? Because Yi Songgye comes across as one to me

I'm not watching because the fictional guru(Go Soo) is the main character and the man responsible for founding Chosun.
Ji Jin Hee's Yi Songgye is probably going to be the same as King Sookjong from Dong Yi and that guy he played in DJG.

I really liked The Front Line and Go Soo was great in it so that's one reason .
Kim So Yeon is beautiful and kicks ass ,sadly she was not allowed to kick Kim Tae Hee's but anyway reason 2 .
Not so moved by the eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee factor though .
And some K Pop idol girl is in it so its two strikes for one against being the K Popper .

And some K Pop idol girl is in it so its two strikes for one against being the K Popper. Son Na Eun only has a minor role in this drama as the younger version of a female character. Glad to see Lee Jin continue to get work. I used to run the largest Lee Jin/FinKL fan site outside of Asia back when FinKL was still around.

FinKL and SES were the first two K Pop acts i listed to. I was never a fan of SES but I became a fan of FinKL through their numerous appearances on variety shows. I've had the same FinKL poster, from their 2nd album, on my wall for the past 12 years. When is this one starting? I love Ji Jin Hee in sageuk. In October.

one thing i noticed in this forum is that some members are 'less appreciative' when it comes to fictional historicals. and they want the show to be as close to what history says. hihi.
there's nothing wrong with it to me, actually. but how about giving it a try, instead of flicking away the thought of watching it?

I have no problem with people who like fictional sageuk. I just prefer factual sageuks over fictional sageuks. I also feel that fictional sageuks distort history and that people who don't know history, especially young kids in Korea, will think that fictional sageuks are actual history. I'm pretty sure lot of people will believe that this "Great Seer" dude is the man responsible for founding Joseon as the guide of Yi Songgye after the drama. I don't hate all fictional sageuks, either. I watched Deep Rooted Tree without a problem because Han Seok Gyu played the main character. This drama doesn't have one of my favorite actors in it, so that's one of the reason for not watching.
