^ I actually looked this up and most examples I was able to find was from the American Civil War and WWI, which isn't the time period you were looking for, but alot of horses did get killed. It also says that a single horse isn't too terribly easy to kill with a single shot, unless it is at close range. Often, a horse could take up to five bullets before it would drop. So volley of arrows probably should be able to kill horses.
Stories of the Battles of Crecy and Pontiers during the Hundred Years War indicate that horse casualties were significant; horses are larger targets than humans so they were easier targets, and if a horse fell over, a rider would either get injured or be crushed to death by one.

A drama about Akechi Mitsuhide, huh. Unexpected.
Currently watching the first episode. Was instantly taken by the colors.
Somehow I'm not surprised the young Akechi is portrayed as the idealistic young noble who wants to do right, though then again, the only thing I know about this historical figure is his Honno-ji incident.

With Mitsuhide we know little of his life before Nobunaga .Though this drama will probably go with Mitsuhide killing Nobunaga, to avenge his mother, who died because Nobunaga broke his word to a clan he was besieging (she was a hostage ).That story is Edo period fiction, the reality seems to be Mitsuhide was ambitious, saw his chance and took it . It is pretty logical that he served Saito Dosan, before joining Nobunaga, but again, no proof.

Somebody needs to sue Netflix for attempting to monopolize the Korean zombie market!

Ever since Train to Busan was released, Korean media has more or less been infected by the zombie genre.
There are even some westerners saying that the Koreans are doing it better than the Americans.

This sounds so stupid.
I just realized something. This director has been riding on the coattails of successful television series in the past some years.
Jeong Dojeon-Six Flying Dragons
Mr Sunshine-Nokdu General (this one is admittedly pushing it but what those two have in common is that it takes place during the twilight years of the Joseon dynasty)
And now this with Kingdom

Just watched Itaewon Class on Netflix, it started off like it could be another "Baker King Kim Takgu". When S Korea does the underdog dramas, they are usually in a class of their own. This one was great for about 10 episodes, then came a time jump and it started losing all the elements that made it good.
Anyone watching the Mitsuhide Drama, its going off the air because of COVID 19, 21 will be the last episode for now. Filming starts again on June 30th, and it should be back on air at the end of August .
