This thread is for discussion of episode 7 of The Musical. Please check the drama info & schedule thread for more info and rules on how to avoid spoilers and such.
---------------------------------------------------------
Eun Bi asks Jin if something is going on. He responds that nothing is wrong. Eun Bi tells him that she would be heartbroken if production on Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails were to be halted. That she still can't believe she's part of a musical.
Jin's mother is getting worse. The doctor advises Jin's father to put her in a nursing home. He doesn't want to do that.
Jae Yi tells Eun Bi that to improve her acting, she should go beyond loving musicals and love a person. Jae Yi claims he's only trying to help her but Gu Jak sees right through him.
Jin is facing pressure to go with Count Monte and put Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails on hold. He remains undecided.
Kang Hee and President Han talk about whether to go with Count Monte or Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails. President Han thinks they should go with Count Monte and come back to Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails later on.
Kang Hee meets with Jin regarding Count Monte. Kang Hee thinks it's odd that Jin is being indecisive. Jin says he just wants to make sure to make the right decision. He'd prefer to go with Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails first and then do Count Monte.
Jin and Ra Kyung go on a date. She purposely wants to go to the zoo knowing that Eun Bi is there. She wants Eun Bi to see them together. At the zoo, they run into Jae Yi and Eun Bi. After, Jin asks Ra Kyung if she regrets not dating anyone else but him. Ra Kyung responds that there's no one else she'd rather date. That no one knows her better than he does. He asks why Ra Kyung why she is having doubts about them. That he knows why she wanted to go to the zoo.
Jin and Ra Kyung have dinner with his grandfather and Kang Hee. Kang Hee spilled the beans about Count Monte. Jin's grandfather wonders why he is hesitating. Kang Hee responds that it's because he's become close with the cast and crew of Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails.
Jin is forced to put Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails on hold. He meets with Jae Yi and Gu Jak to tell them the bad news. He's willing to hire them to work Count Monte if they wish to do so. They're both upset about Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails and walk out. Outside, Jae Yi and Gu Jak talk about the possibility of continuing on with Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails if they can secure the funds for it.
---------------------------------------------------------
I'd have to agree with Gu Jak. I thought that Jae Yi telling Eun Bi that she should love someone to improve her acting was cheap. It makes some sense but, given his intentions, it's still cheap.
Kang Hee really forced Jin's hand. I'm not really sure what she's up to though. Postponing Chung Dam Dong Nine Tails hurts Eun Bi and Jae Yi but it doesn't necessarily separate them.
