I haven't seen any of this drama but from the picture posted here - wow - she sure looks lovely to me -- May it's poor makeup or is it the character that is not lovey? From this photo, she sure is pretty looking - just my opinion tho -

From this photo, she sure is pretty looking - just my opinion tho - She's not as beauitful as Hong Ah Reum, actress playing Wora, in my opinion. She's also really bad at acting. It sounds like she's reading a book out loud everytime she talks.

Is this available online yet, even without subs?
Did I misread an earlier post - surely Gwanggaeto has not been extended again to 100 episodes?

Yes Gwanggaeto has been extended to 100 eps but seems Taejong may have casting problems anyway .
Do not know of any links for this one yet may be to early It will be about 5/6 weeks before subbed versions appear .

Sadly, I think this drama is going to be like King Geunchogo. Good Drama, but extremely low rating.
I hoped that ratings would get higher this week, but it actually got 2% lower.(8%->6%)
Gwanggaeto, on the other hand, did better than last week.(15%->17%)

I have a theory with why ths show may not be doing well. One, is Kim Injun well known among the Korean public? They've probably never heard of the guy. truth also mentioned the drama feels more like the good ol historical dramas and it could also be that it doesn't appeal to the modern crowd.
The only reason why I think Gwanggaeto is getting better ratings is simply because of the name. Exploitation at its finest (or worst depending on your point of view)

The only reason why I think Gwanggaeto is getting better ratings is simply because of the name. Exploitation at its finest (or worst depending on your point of view) I doubt that is the case. No one knew about the main characters of Moon that Embraces the Sun before this show started. The main characters of that show are not even real people, yet it is the highest rated drama right now(38%). This is 15% higher than the best ratings of Deep Rooted Tree, the historical with highest ratings in 2011. My theory is that people just aren't into traditional type of historicals anymore(ex. Tears of Dragon, Age of Warriors, King Geunchogo, this show). A historical won't draw ratings unless it is a fusion historical now(ex. Emperor of the Sea, Jumong, The Legend, Deep Rooted Tree, Moon that Embraces the Sun) or a fusion+traditional types(ex. Dae Jo Young, Gwanggaeto).

I don't much care whether the show is straight historical or historical/fusion. I want to see a good story that's well-acted. I'm willing to put up with more if the story is meant to be fluffy from the getgo. But I expect more from a show that the producers want us to take seriously.

Its worth remembering Age Of Warriors did not have great ratings either and this is a continuation of the story .
