I see DramaFever now has Emperor of the Sea. Is that one worth watching? I liked Song Il Gook in Jumong, don't recognize any of the other actors.

Guess I'll wath it then. Lately, though, I'm having all kinds of trouble watching anything on DramaFever. The videos are either extremely slow to load, or they don't load at all. I've been watching videos there for a couple of years, and this never happened until about a month ago. I don't know what they've changed, but it is a drastic change for the worse. I can watch stuff on Hulu without any loading problems at all, so it must be specific to DramaFever. Just when they have a couple of dramas I really want to watch, too.

I have had a similar problem i have been trying to watch Kim Suro sometimes it will freeze about 40 mins in and thats it nothing you can do save move on to next Ep.
Emperor is great ,sadly it was the blueprint for so many historical's that followed still Emp did those cliches first and best . It was also the first Shilla Drama in years and made Song Il Guk a star though nowadays the man has lost his way KOTW was the last decent thing he has done .

Funny how MBC claimed that QSD was the first Shilla Drama in history and that Gyebaek is the first Baekjae Drama in history.

Yes think they forgot Seo Don Yo (i can never get the name right ) as well as Emperor not to mention Geunchogo . Lets go back to the 80's the massive MBC Drama Tales Of The Three Kingdoms was not just about Goguryeo and that's the same network .

Then forward to the last point you were at. You might need to attempt this several times. You can also try using an ad blocker. It helps with loading the videos and skipping those pesky ads.

I didn't think Sejong and Mu Hyul would find out who Chae-yoon was so soon. Wonder how the revenge story will resolve? Does he forgive Sejong or die before he can kill him?

I haven't seen the creation of the Hangul mentioned in the drama yet. Is it supposed to be being worked on in secret?

The way they are portraying Sejong in this drama, he seems on the verge of insanity. He saw himself as a younger man and talked to him(self).
I guess all these guys getting murdered were working on the Hangul in secret, each not knowing what the others are doing. Those killing them seem to be using the excuse that Sejong is favoring Buddhism over Confucianism, while in reality (or at least in the King's eyes), they are just jealous of losing power.
It was nice to see Jang Hyuk cut that assassin's face. But which one is the actual "Root?" I'm suspicious of the butcher character in Ban Chon, who hasn't spoken yet, but whom the camera has dwelled on several times, which must mean something.

With all that stuff going on, no wonder Sejong's going crazy.

It would be interesting to see the 80's version which was longer and focused more on Sejong so i have heard .

No #1 show in Korea right now even beating KBS'S mega Poseidon . 9th ep is meant to be a real game changer .

I actually had a feeling that Garion was Jung Gi Joon from the beginning, so it didn't surprise me too much.
