I'm really sorry we didn't get more discussion on this drama, because I really enjoyed it. I was so glad to see bird here, and I hope to see more of her. ;D

Thanks for the nice thought, Bo--- I was getting ahead of the schedule so I started to watch "painter in the wind" and then I had a terrible time getting Spotlight/Ep 15 to load, so it took a few days to watch. I have to agree with your comments about the last episode, like I said before I thought T and Wujin might "get together" or even Wujin and Seochul (sp?) but it was nice to watch a drama with no romance and evil MIL for a change! I enjoyed this a lot, but had trouble keeping the guys in suits straight-- the only one I connected with a name constantly was T's dad, and that made it a bit hard for me to follow. I didnt really like the ending, because I thought after all her digging to get this story, Wujin would give up on being a anchor and just continue being a great reporter-- I think it would be much more exciting to hunt down the news instead of just reporting it behind a desk. I still thought someone was going to get blown up or a least shot -too much regular TV I guess - like when T and Wujin walked out of the airport and were confronted by those 3 guys in suits! I actually looked at Wujin shoes to see if she was wearing heels, so if they had to made a running escape she would be at a disadvantage! Bo- thanks for your added comments-- it helped me keep on going with this one, and I really hope more people post-- I miss hearing eveyrones comments.

Yes, I kept expecting the blowing-up too...silly Americans. ;D I agree, I actually liked the lack of classic K-drama romance. You could feel it simmering below the surface, but it was nice to see people just doing their jobs. And your comment about being an anchor vs a reporter is well-taken, in fact, didn't Taesok tell her something like that?
Overall, I'd give this show an A, maybe an A minus.

I agree with your grade A or A-, and I think you are right about T saying to Wujin about being a reporter-- that is why I thought he spent so much time with her, helping to build her confidence in being a really good reporter. I think it would have been a better ending if Wujin would have been talking into the "mike" as a anchor about her not being afraid anymore and then T joking about her sticking to being a reporter because her being afraid was what made her so stong when it came to her digging up the truth-- I don't buy her being afraid or she would not have put herself in so many crazy/scary predictaments......and I think its funny that we both thought something was going to "blow up" and blamed it on TV-- maybe thats why we thought someone was going to end up in a romance---becauase we watch to many K-dramas!!!!

You are right about the romance expectations--it IS why I thought it would turn out that way. Also, whoever wrote the released description of the show clearly thought that's what would happen. It reminded me of paperbacks, where the person who writes the cover blurb clearly does not read the book itself, seemingly taking their cue from the title and what they expect such a book to consist of.
My last comment is: Poor old original Newsroom Boss. He put his employment on the line for Taesok's vision, and he's the only one who ended up out of a job. And he didn't even get a "here's what happened to him" sendoff by the drama. LOL.
