www.kbs.co.kr/drama/kingbaekje/post/index.htmlSo the reason why this has not started yet is one of the leads has been arrested for a hit and run ,KBS debated canning the(one of ) lead actress and recasting the roll but this would have caused an even bigger delay ,so the fortunate actress was given a get out of jail card so production could resume . Anyway should start in Korea on 11/6/10 . KBS site above has nice promo vid .

Seodongnyo The armor looks like its from Goguryeo though. Then again, armor in Korea has often been difficult to find anyway. I also read reports that there was armor like that in Baekje Baekje armor Plate armor. I assume its for the infantry Lamellar What was in the trailer The Seven Branched Sword was alos created during his time. As shown in the trailer.

Guess we are lucky the actress was not wielding some of that stuff when she creamed the poor pedestrian . No chariot for her .

What time frame is this one? Looks pretty early.
I believe the one actor in the promo played the Crown Prince (Muyul's older brother) in Kingdom of the Winds. I hope he has a big part. I really liked him. Also looks like the actress in one of the photos is the same one who played King Sejong's mother in GKS.

Geunchogo's reign was 346-375, so its in the mid 4th century.
Considering this is the story of a warrior king, alot of fighting scenes should be expected. I just hope that the show doesn't depend too much on fighting. There are probably going to be cliches found in most historicals involving kings, such as self questioning of destiny, compassion for the people, emo, love interest (oh wait, all dramas have this), the corruption of power (a really common trope that never seems to die), and wanting to get away from it all. What a drama needs is heart behind it. Wonder what it will be? A love triangle? So far that's all I'm guessing

The drunk driver was the older actress in Dlaja's Spring the tv host who became pregnant ,she would be perfect for a Mishil Type.

Yes but where will we see it??? Or how? Is KBS only available on cable? Is that the final outcome for folks in Chicago? I'm hoping that in Philly, MindTV will show it, but I'm not hopeful.

The drunk driver was the older actress in Dlaja's Spring the tv host who became pregnant ,she would be perfect for a Mishil Type. Kim Ji-soo is the actress. It looks like she hit a taxi, not a pedestrian. Article on Han Cinema siteI quote: "...Kim Ji-soo caused [hit]-and-run while she was drunk with her Audi sedan, with Mr. Yoo’s taxi at the intersection near Galleria department store at 9 P.M., on October 5th." I don't see her listed on Dalja's Spring cast list. Bo

you are right that was Lee Hye Young who was in Dalja ,but around the same time she rear ended some old dear in her car ,than tried to flee the scene ,well not try she did but later turned herself in wrapped in an army of lawyers . Hence my confusion ,two hit and runs in a similar period.

Found this on soompi forums
Looks like they're going to have the father-son relationship the heart of this drama. Then what happens when the father dies?
Baekje and Goguryeo confilicts. Baekje founded by princes of Goguryeo. This situation works well with Korea, especially with the North and South relations

This was written by the guy who did Ja Myung Go ,which was not bad except for the HK styled action scenes ,The mini trailer looks like it will be martial arts based ,but thats just a teaser so really can't say ,as long as they do not emulate Empress or the middle section of DJY ,it could be decent .
