I don't think the dramas are actually related, arrow, but someone else may answer here.
For instance, the screenwriter of Yi San was Kim I-yeoung, while the scriptwriter of Dae Jang-geum was Kim Yeong-hyeon. Here are their pages on Han Cinema:

Kim I-yeong, writer of YiSan
As you can see, although their names appear similar, they are not the same person. The only thing I can think of is they are both women. Perhaps there is a similar worldview? LOL. Us women. We all think alike.
