I just thought I would take this opportunity to revive this board before the encore presentation ends without having anyone comment on the show. I'm enjoying the show much more this second time around not just because I really loved the show, but thanks to the greatly improved broadcast signal, compared to the old days, it is no longer necessary for me to have to stand in the kitchen holding onto the TV antenna for the duration of the show in order to get a picture clear enough to successfully read every other line.

I don't think that I'll ever get tired of watching this one. It's like the same reaction every time that I see "Casablanca". I do hope that this board gets more active in commenting about the storyline.

How weird. I think Captain V was posting a message to this thread at the exact moment that I was moving it to the new forum--and his message disappeared, even though the old forum thinks he wrote it.
Soorrry. Internet weirdness.

I am glad they are replaying this one, I did want to see it again. Beautiful music, somewhat slow moving, but it has the most romantic scenes I have seen from any kdrama. The two leads have so much chemistry. It deserves another viewing.

The only thing that matters is if I like it. Since it was produced by the Winter Sonata artist, I'm looking forward as the story continues.

I am enjoying watching this for the second time also, I really like the music -- one of first OST's that I ever ordered and still listen to......

Yup.This was really good because it really grows on you.
I'm envious of KBSWorld viewers in Asia, their second whiff(encore) is the 30 episode Golden Apple which was so fantastic.Anyone remember that one? It's the little girl,Keumshil that sticks in my mind. The cutest of cutey-pies.She was also in the Road Home as the eldest son's daughter.

That was an awesome drama. I remember it well, pilseung. I bought the soundtrack album on the strength of the theme song.

I just loved The Golden Apple. I bought the boxed set on eBay... the language is Chinese. But since I know the story line and the characters, I'm glad I have it... loved OST and it's included in my media player on my computer. Keumshil was just my favorite little actress and it was lovely to see her in The Road Home. At the risk of sounding like an absolute sap, I have to tell you that along with several pictures of my granddaughter, I also have a little picture of Keumshil in my wallet. She's a wonderful young actress and really grasps the roles that she plays.

My compliments to you ladies,Lucy and Kathleen, for buying the discs. The theme was wonderful.Whenever it played,it always, for some reason, made me feel comfortable in my heart.Sort of like the cosy feeling I get whenever a good, old friend comes round to my place for a drink and a chat. Kathleen,I don't think anything other than,"YOU'VE GOT GOOD TASTE" by keeping a picture of her in your wallet. The way she cried because she missed her sister and when she was sick at her "grandparents" place, really broke my heart.Talk about sounding like a sap! LOL
