Do direct to DVD movies count?
Ultimate Avengers Alot of people probably don't know this, but before the upcoming Avengers movie this year, a animated film based on the team was released direct to DVD six years ago. I watched it in anticipation of the fgilm, and at best, I liked it fine.
Planet Hulk Another direct to DVD animated film. The story is that the Hulk causes so much trouble in Earth he is literally launched into outer space (it really must have been alot of damage if they're resorting to launching him); while in space, he crashlands on a alien planet, is enslved and participates in gladiatorial games. Basically the plot is Gladiator on a alien planet with the Hulk as the main lead. I liked it fine. Pretty average at best though

Just saw A Night to Remember, a 1958 movie about the sinking of the Titanic, several years before James Cameron's version. It has the reputation of being the most historically accurate depiction of the disaster and possibly the best movie revolving it, and its easy to see why. While its production is modest in comparison to the 1997 version's high production values, its hard not to apprecite the hard worrk that went into it during the late 50s. I don't dislike Cameron's version, but A Night to Remember's greatest strength is the life during that time. Life is interesting life has problems life doesn't have to resolve itself in a poetic way life doesn't always have villains (the iceberg is pretty much the designated villain here don't you think?). It truly does feel like the disaster isn happening, in spite of the production being a little outdated.

I didn't see you said "Sung Yuri" until after I saw the trailer, in which I recognized her; she's always great. That looks ADORABLE and funny. I look forward to it, too.

LOL I see what you did there. I'll probably watch The Avengers when it comes out on DVD. It's not something I'm dying to see. The movies I'm looking forward to watching are Snow White And The Huntsman (already in theaters), Prometheus (already in theaters), Brave and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I still haven't watched The Raven. The latest movie I saw was Battleship. It's awful. Don't waste your time or money on it.

Seriously? Nobody has seen the Avengers? I saw it and loved it. Joss Whedon did a great job directing it. I really liked this version of the Hulk.
