You just have to feel sorry for Chilnam (Choi Haesan from GKS); he's so naive. He gets scammed out of $30,000 by that guy and then winds up with a rat trap stuck to his head. It was comical. ;D He and his wife couldn't be more different.

The glue on those things is tenacious. I know, because I got one stuck to my finger once. While I was trying to dispose of a mouse that was also stuck to it

Eeew, that would be most unpleasant to have a mouse and you stuck to the trap at the same time! My cat got her paw stuck on one once - it was horrible getting it off!
Anyway, I laughed till I cried when he got that thing stuck on his head!

That was the best scene in K-drama history!

That was the best scene in K-drama history! You're so right door60 . . . can you begin to imagine how many times they had to do retakes on that scene?! I would think there was a great deal of laughing before they got it right. ;D ;D

That was the best scene in K-drama history! I beg to differ - the best was the Eel scene in 'Yellow Handkerchief'. But this was right up there.

I just bought Yellow Handkerchief this week, so it'll be a while before I find this scene.
By the way, Family Video, where I've bought most of my KDramas and movies, closed its doors yesterday. I'll miss them.

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear Family Video is no more. I have like the second half of YH recorded, but it's not indexed. I don't know what ep the eel scene is in, or even if it's in the half I have or not It's somewhat reminiscent of the lobster scene in Annie Hall. Geez, I don't think of that movie as old, but I see it's older than you are, brooklyn

I don't care for Yeongsun very much. She's money hungry and doesn't respect her husband much. He on the other hand adores her.

I kinda like her. She's one of the most believable Daily Drama characters I've seen in a while. She gets mad when provoked, but when things cool down she's forgiving (usually).
She sort of reminds me of the sister in "Thank You Life" (I think it was).

That woman definitely needs some anger management classes and some duct tape for her mouth. Her husband tries to stop her but he's too nice about it and everyone else just enables her. She needs Miryeong's mom to put her in her place. ;D

I suspect Miryeong's mom is going to hang around for a while for that very purpose, Tink.

Soju, I agree with you regarding Yeongsun -- she is at least believable
