By all means start that thread if you like, simisteve, since it's your idea. I get the impression people would have a lot to say about it.

I don't like the grown up version of the King and the 2 princesses, as much as I liked the younger cast. I am surprised they just didn't use make-up to age them

I think a thread like that would be so full of spoilers (the show gets worse as it goes further along) especially with the west coast in the late 30s, episode-wise, that it might be problematic. I'd really hate to be so negative too......I really WANT to like this show, especially with Seo Hui and Gang Gamchan being such strong characters, but I just get so mad at what eventually gets shown.
Now I'm really kicking myself that I missed DJY.

I'm in Philly and I got to see IE twice last weekend. First, I was watching on WYBE 35-01 MIND TV (on my DTV). When they paused to fundraise, I was flipping around and found the same episode running on the neighboring channel called globalMIND, 35-02. I've checked out globalMIND since then and it seems they run lots of foreign movies, videos, etc. I watched a beautiful movie there called "My Father, My Lord". A heartwrenching story, but I recommend it.
I'll be checking that station again this weekend. I'm curious to see if it was a mistake or if IE will be running there regularly.
BTW, the old feather duster's character seems a little subdued in this drama, even a little intimidated most of the time. Too bad...he's a strong actor.

Oops, I forgot, I think this is ep #12
I don't even know what's going on anymore. One minute, I see the new Jurchen leader guy and his 2 sidekicks whispering, then the next I see the leader guy looking off somewhere and having a flashback about witnessing some killings when he was younger then Lee Van Cliff rides on a horse and takes him to a pond. x.x Then the flashback ends. So the temple where Su and her son met, that's where leader guy grew up?

EPISODE 11 I'm glad that crafty old Astrologer Choe Jimong is gone but unfortunately his influence over the King is still alive. He really fears his sister, so much so that he contemplates the possibility of killing her. I still can't believe he took his own sister's infant especially after what both of the sisters sacrificed for him. I think Prince Gyeongjuwon loves Queen Hunjeong just as much as she loves him. Very sad circumstances. Why is Gang Jo the only one suspicious of Kim Chiyang? I didn't think Queen Hunae was that naive. Kim Wonsoong is so annoying.

While I'm glad they changed the young actress that played Seol, Door, I think the young actress that played Su could've been made up to look older as you said. It's hard to believe that Prince Chi and Su are supposed to be just in their early 30's. I keep thinking that the storyline should've been further along cause they look to have aged quite a bit to their 40's.
I'm a fan of romance but the side story of Seol and that good looking prince seems to have just been thrown in there out of nowhere, unless, they're going to produce a powerful offspring or something.
Yes, tink, why is it that the 'stars' are so naive and trusting when they should be so cautious? I remember too how trusting DJY was on several occasions. It's a good thing they have sharp sidekicks at times to kick some sense into them.

Episode 12 Loved watching Lady Yunheung take charge of the Ministers when she met with about Prince Song. She has a lot of leadership potential!! Prince Gyeongjuwon is a wild card. The Shillan Ministers seem to have forgotten all about him. If he hooks up with Lady Seol (Queen Hunjeong), then the royal line can continue through them. Won't they be surprised?!

I missed Saturday's epi. How did Lady Seol and her prince hook up? Last I saw, her sister denied her permission to go look for him and now they're married.

Wow, in the NY/NJ area, they cut out soooo much of episode 14. I learned this because I was reading the summary posted on these boards for episode 14, because I missed something last nite, and what a difference in what the viewers of Chicago had seen, and what was aired last nite! I am really annoyed!!

Door60 and Brooklyn, do you really think that the little girl who played the empress in the early going would have been believable in battle scenes?
I'm not disagreeing with you, in fact I liked her a little better in the part as well, but that was the only alternative viewpoint I could conceive of.
