Speaking of Maro ....he was a real person . It states in the Samguk Sagi that Maro's mother Hae Ap sent her son Maro who was a great spearman to join the army of King Dae Musin Mu-hyul . Most of the characters in this drama were real people so that makes a change. BTW the name Goguryeo was not used until the time of Muhyul's grandson Taeso . During Muhyul's time the state was known as North Buyeo.

Thanks domyoungchun. I'm surprised he was a real person let alone the son of Hae Ap. I never would have thought they'd call the country North Buyeo either.

If it ends like EOTS I'll be really dead upset. I agree zorro. There seems to be a lot to wrap up in just one episode. I finished watching KOTW back in January, and I can gurantee you this... Some people will like the ending---Others will hate it... I Would not worry about the last episode because that will not be the end . The story continues in the SBS Series "Princess Ja Myung Go " Myself we dont get SBS so lets hope Ja Myung Go hits DVD . I hope it comes out subbed somewhere earlier than DVD, I want to watch it and don't get SBS either... Check out these pics... Muhyul and his princess---Hodong and his...Like father like son... Muhyul as an old man...

Thats great but consideing Muhyul was only 39 when he died he sure aged a lot . Muhyul was another of these Alexander The Great types a young military genius he commanded the army at age 13 killed Daeso and subjugated Buyeo ,Gaya by age 15 ,became King at 19 than took on the Han Dynasty . Incidently the Muhyul /Yeon tragic love story would replay it self through several generations of Goguryeon Kings starting with Hodong all the way to Anseung (22nd king)so it looks like we have a lot of material to be filmed .
