OMG did anyone see that week long drama that started yesterday? What year is it supposed to take place in ? It was crazy and totally unrelatable as far as I am concerned...

I saw it dorrie. Yikes! Daddy Likes Trouble or something. The actor who played Li Kaigu on DJY is certainly handsome but I don't like him here, nor the daughter. I don't see how it can get any better in only three more episodes. There's no time to develop character or ideas or anything (not that K-drama is long on ideas) but I'll leave it on while I'm doing the crossword puzzle and wait for the next one.

Believe it or not, Puppy, I feel like it got better. Once I knew the drama takes place during the Korean War -- it started making sense & I got it...

The setting isn't bad, door, but why do the actors have to make such exaggerated faces all ther time? The whole thing is over the top if you ask me, from the opening pants-pooping, to last nite's dead cow eating.
(I kind of like the father's friend who comes back for his money and helps out the family.)

I think it's hard for most of us to understand war time living. I have heard stories as my mother was a child in hiding during the Holocaust, so I understand that day to day living becomes extraordinary (like eating the cow)

Hi everyone! I'm watching WMBC here in NYC - I have known about this board but didn't realize it had so many East Coast viewers. The current drama, Dad Loves Trouble, from what I read somewhere - can't remember - is 4 seventy minutes episodes so I guess WMBC is going to make them into 8......?

Maranyc, what channel do you get WMBC in NYC ? My friend lives in Chelsea, and I want her to start watching the Road Home when it starts airing!

door60 - I have RCN cable and I get WMBC on Channel 19. Your friend needs to check her cable co's channel lineup.
I was hoping I could get WMBC DTV over the air waves using a converter box and amplified indoor antenna (as I don't have a digital tv) but I can't get any signal at all.
Are you watching on WMBC as well?

Hi puppy - How come there are so many NY and NJ folks on this Chicago board? Are any of you able to receive WMBC over the air and get the subchannels or whatever they are called.....or just on your cable?

Hello everyone and welcome maranyc! I only get wmbc on cable and with cablevision it's on channel 20. This board is the best board I've been a part of and like someone said before, it's not confusing and everyone gets along like family lol.
