Not sure but I think The Road Home may be next - whatever follows must be less annoying than Destiny. I've been watching kdramas since 2001 and never before did I stop watching any one of them before the end, in fact I hated to miss an episode. All the boards I read feel just as we do, some have much stronger opinions on this drama than those posted here.

This is the first full drama I have seen. I saw the last two months of the one before this and about the same for another one. I lost the zeal for this show about 50 eps ago. ENOUGH!!!!

I've been DL-ing the new KBS Daily Drama, 'The Road Home', from KBS's site. I don't have any idea what it's about, since I haven't checked out any of those "Spoiler" boards, but it does have a lot of familiar faces; it's like a 'So this is Love' reunion. Speaking of which, Han Jinhee is sporting bangs in this one, and looks a little pudgy; at first I didn't recognize him. I thought, "Who's that, looks like Han Jinhee's brother". Then I heard that laugh. Ha. Ha. Ha.

I'm just bought "We Are Dating Now", series from 2002. Han Jin Hee is playing a very light, humorous role. It takes some getting used to. There are also many familiar faces (although very young looking) in this story.
I've just begun it, so I can't say how much I'll enjoy it.

Hi dorrie! I'm with skye and dodgerman. This drama had me giving up about a month ago, a first since I became a K-drama fan. There were too many gratuitous situations that went nowhere, characters acting out-of-character and Saybyeok! OMG! I know it's not cool to rag on your MIL, but come on! She seems to care more for her than for anyone else, worries when she's sick, says she loves her (LOVES her!) apologises when she's slapped down. That can't be normal even in Korea.
I'm glad it's coming to an end here and hope its replacement is better. Actually, I hope it's historical but probably not.

I looked at the cast of "The Road Home", and Taeyong's father is in it, and the rich boy from Mom's Dead Upset is in it too. You Are My Destiny was just ridiculous, but of course, now I have to watch it to the bitter end. It seems as though the week-end dramas that we get in NY have a little more depth -- Mom's Dead Upset, The Chill Sisters. Puppy, I hope we don't get a historical drama, somehow I can't get into those. Incidentally, I tried the Korean Spa in NJ -- not quite as fabulous as the one in NY!

OMG, Dorrie! Did you see it last nite? I won't spoil but Sabby gets more and more robotic. Always a smile no matter what. I think the only time she went against MIL was the wedding dress and the plates she took with her from her adopted mom. But the cabbage and stomping quilts in sub-zero weather (and worse to come) are not important enough to lock horns over.
I like the historicals because they're less silly to me. The characters don't switch back and forth to move along the plot - what they do makes sense. A warrior acts like one, a princess ditto. In YAMD, things come to a head and I say, "Oh boy, so and so is going to get it now!" but in the next episode, MIL backs off or Hosae says, "That's OK, Ma." That's when I hit the remote and go to Pilseungs's spoilers.
Is our new weekly really starting Monday!! I wish we were in better synch with Chicago so I could post more without worrying about spoiling or being waaay behind. But I like it here and this is the best K-fan board.

I agree, puppy, Chicago does have a really good fan board -- it is very organized. I find the boards in Philly & California too confusing. But, it would be better if we were in sync with Chicago as to the scheduling of shows. I am extremely jealous that Chicago gets so many k-dramas! I think that on Monday we will start getting a new weekly drama, and I can't wait. YAMD was just too ridiculous. I love Mom's Dead Upset, though. I think it is really sophisticated, and well written.

Hello guys. I'm glad I came and saw this or else I would miss the beginning of the new drama for next week. I watched tonight's episode after giving it about a month's break and even though I read all the spoilers, I was still upset with our dear, dear Sabby and for once liked MIL.

MIL is growing on me too. Her dislike of Sabby in an understandable emotion. Sabby's taking it isn't, not to me.
I'm enjoying MDU too, Dorrie.

KYONG SUK YE, KYONG SUK DADDY is the next drama from the WMBC's website... Does anyone here know anything about it... There is a thread under General about this show - here in Chicago it's listed as My Daddy Likes Trouble. It starter here this past week. I watched it and I liked it. ;D The actor who played Li Kaigu in DaeJo Young is the lead; he's a drummer and the Daddy. It's set during the Korean War - 1950s/ should be interesting. Modified: It's under the OTHER SHOWS forum - my mistake - sorry- oops - Sabby must be growing on me - oh no!

Apparently, WMBC is airing this week long drama, and will start The Road Home on March 16
