Now that Yeonsil has come to terms with her fate, and magnanimously overcompensated by showering the Kims with her uncharacteristic generosity… what do you want to bet that the call from the hospital is to tell her "It's only gas." The timing might kill her right then and there.

She assumed the nurses were talking about her but it's probably another patient. I like your "gas" theory zorro. ;D

;D Score another one for Zorro, our wit of the week! ;D Do you think she'll try to get any of her "generous" gifts back, if she is okay? LOL She's just so obvious in her actions sometimes, good comic relief except when she's being a real witch. Great acting on her part

I can't believe Yeonsil lost her baby! I didn't think she was even happy about being pregnant but I guess she got used to the idea. I felt very sad for her. Grandma and her silly exercises to have a boy.

That was so stupid, to dress absurdly then run from a security guard. That fall down the stairs wasn't Grandma's fault. Then today, to try to kidnap a baby! Is she mentally ill too or just low IQ? aigu, these women are exasperating! Their husbands hardly ever complain or notice the outrageousness. sigh.

I think the writers are trying to portray how some women who have lost a baby through miscarriage or stillbirth or death of a newborn, react. Some DO kidnap babies ; it's happened here in Chicago numerous times; most always with a happy ending of the baby being returned safely to its parents. That part isn't too unbelievable. Her falling down the stairs and having a miscarriage is much less likely to occur. If that were the USUAL outcome, there would be far less babies born world-wide because pregnant women sometimes trip and fall. Fortunately, most of the time the only damages done to the mother.are minor bruises and contusions; far less frequently a broken bone. None of which are life-threatening to mother or baby. ;D. I thought the scene where Youngsil was thinking about her baby and crying was very touching; I felt real sympathy for her in her loss. I have to admit she is very good actress. Grandma has a closet full of bad advice, doesn't she? And she is always so certain that her advice is great. LOL

Granny is a fountain of misinformation and a bit of a ditz but I love the respect she gets even at her silliest. Older folks aren't always treated that way here.

My own Mom tripped and fell while pregnant with my younger brother. She suffered a broken arm, but my brother is now a healthy 49-year-old man.

I fell down the basement stairs on the day my son was due. I delivered a healthy 9 lb 12 oz boy 2 weeks later. He is now 44 years old and doing just fine.
