#12. In the last episode, Hosae wakes up next to his wife Nayeong and says "Yobo, wake up… you wouldn't believe the dream I just had…" Oh no! ;D I remember that stunt from the old TV show Dallas, and as I recall it was done under similar circumstances (the show’s plotline had gotten so ridiculous and unbelievable that the writers decided to scrap an entire year’s worth of storyline with the “dream” explanation, and then they started over with an entirely new plot). Honestly, as awful as “Destiny” has gotten lately, an idiotic “dream” explanation would likely be cheered by the fans!

Will the parents find out that Yuri lied, and then a few weeks later, find out that she really is pregnant, from tonight in the truck? Ginny, I've started to give up on this show, so I didn't watch last night's episode. Did they "do it," to put it crassly?

Zorro is undoubtedly referring to the end of the show "Newhart", where Bob Newhart wakes up on the set of his first show, "The Bob Newhart Show". The entire five-year run of 'Newhart" was just a dream! ;D Even though this show isn't very good, I find myself rather enjoying it. Granted, it's no 'Yellow Handkerchief' or 'Bizarre Bunch', but then, it's no 'My Precious Child' or 'My Sweetheart' either. The plot, though extremely inane, at least keeps chugging along, without really bogging down or stalling. OK, some may disagree with that statement, but I've seen much worse. And, I watched every episode of those, too

They were in the truck, parked (at the river?), and they kissed. Then there was another kiss, but that one seemed more intense, so I think we were supposed to use our imaginations. Or not. ?

I didn't watch much of the series, so I don't know if his wife was dreaming, or what, but they did wipe out the events of the season. The Newhart one was good! That was the finale, but did Dallas just keep going on after Bobby coming out of the shower?

Whoops, maybe you're all right. I only have a passing memory of Dallas, and I never even watched Newhart, so I can't say anything for sure.
But, I do recall that there were fan protests about how the plotline of Dallas had become impossible to believe - and that the writers "solved" the problem by having a whole year's worth of episodes explained as just a dumb dream.

Well, the final episode of 'Newhart' went one better, wiping out THE ENTIRE SHOW!

Ha, Soju nailed it, my post was "borrowed" from the Newhart ending.
My favorite parts of his "dream" that I remember were "There were these three woodsman… but only one of them could talk." and I'm paraphrasing on this one, "I was married to a blonde… and she wore a lot of sweaters."
I can just hear Hosae now… "I wanted to marry this orphan girl… and she had your eyes."

Does anyone remember the old "St. Elsewhere" show about a Chicago hospital. That ended when a glass snow globe owned by the Chief of Staff's mentally challenged son dropped on the floor and rolled around. The pictures of that happened to be the opening of the entire show, and apparently the whole series never took place.
Weird!!!!!

Hi Brooklyn, I don't know who David Morse is, but yes, the cast included Ed Begley Jr, also Wm Daniels, Ed Flanders, and Howie Mandel. In looking it up, tho, I stand corrected. The story is about St. Elegius Hospital, based on a hospital in Boston. It ran from Oct. of 82 until May of 88.
