I voted for Subin's mom, because she's so impulsive. She's a loose cannon, no subtlety, just charges ahead, six-guns blazing. Then, oops, she's messed up, but won't even admit it and has a hard time apologizing. So self-centered.
;D I voted for Hosea's mother. She doesn't even care what her own son wants - or who he loves or anything he feels. She only cares about what SHE wants. I could never understand a mother to be so mean and unfeeling to their own child. Subin's mom is a loose canon as is said above. But even she cares about her child's feelings; she's trying to get Subin to just let go of Hosae and find another man to love. She's telling her to let him go, he's not for her. So I think, even tho YShil would love to be in Hosae's family, she does not want her daughter to be unhappy. That's more than can be said for Hosae's selfish mother.
I vote for Subin's mom. Hosae's mom is angry enough, but the sheer hysteria of Subin-omma trumps all. Plus, as bad as Hosae's mom is, this actress has played far worse characters in other dramas, so she seems pretty reasonable to me here.
You know, I started off disliking Minjeong, Hosae's mom, the most. (I got the names down now.) with Yeonsil a clear second. But I've changed my mind. Those two have been self-absorbed, mean spirited women from the beginning. You know what to expect from them and if you want anything different, you're just missing the point, right?
But with Yeongsuk, she could go either way. You never know. She gets that closed look and takes to her bed and everybody walks on eggs. Her family seems scared of her, never want to tell her the truth (Nayeong's death and other stuff) True, she can be nice but that makes her swings all the more scary to me.
And Grandma - I've decided I'm with Mikey there. She's the most enormous pain in the a-s and the angriest, usually over nothing.
Also to add why Minji's my pick I feel the same way soapy does, Minji's totally running and ruining her children's lives and if they dear object, it's all out war. That's not a mother, that's more like a prison guard.
