Getting back to Hosae, wasn't he seeing Naeyong before she died? Maybe he got drawn into the whole Subin mess because he's sorry he didn't have to courage to tell his folks he was dating the chauffeur's daughter. He's looking for a rebound relationship, one that's on the up and up and that his folks will approve of.
Hosae's kind of out there, floundering, attracted to Saebyeok yet still chaining himself to Subin. Very odd behavior. I think the writers want us to see him as troubled and confused. This will keep us hoping/watching til he gets some spine, ices the bad girl and wins the good one.

I loved when Bobby Kim did that mini-K-drama on MAD TV. LOL. He's Bobby Lee. You had a 50% chance of being right when guessing "Kim," though.

It's hard to believe that Hosae is so hooked on Saebyeok. I mean he dated her so briefly under false pretenses -- why is he so hooked on her?

Hosea being hooked after a few dates - - well, he at least spent some time with her ALONE. How about Taeyoung and his HS CRUSH? He's been in love with her since HS, never even dated her - loved her from "afar" . . and cannot "live without her" . . . I think that's a whole lot harder to swallow than Hosea - who seems to have been born into the wrong family lol ..

I think it's that Saebyeok has Naeyeong's eyes. He was in love with Naeyeong (sp?) and she's now a part of Saebyeok. It's sort of a mystical connection that's meant to defy logic.
At least that's my guess, Doorie.

I think it's because she's so nice. Remember how he kept looking back fondly on the night they went to the restaurant and his shoes were taken, and she borrowed a pair of dumb-looking shoes like his loaners so he wouldn't feel stupid? The mystical "I love your corneas" thing doesn't hurt, either. Remember "Summer Scent"? A guy and girl fell in love with each other (partly) because she got his dead girlfriend's heart. Ba-rother!

door, I thought about how much he has it in for Sabby after they've only known each other for that short time. But some people do fall hard quickly, maybe our boy has one of those obsessive disorders or something.
p.s. congrats on the star! lol

I loved how WWE wrestler Edge showed up at the end. No reason for him to even be in the skit but maybe it was symbolic of how the foreign actors they hire in KDramas to portray Americans aren't American (Edge is Canadian ). They always have slightly European accents... IDK.

It's hard to believe that Hosae is so hooked on Saebyeok. I mean he dated her so briefly under false pretenses -- why is he so hooked on her? I think brooklyn, lucy, and puppy got it right. It's a combination of the fact that this is a KDrama and when someone gets someone else's body part (especially if the donor was someone you knew and loved), the person who was associated to the donor is automatically "mystically" connected to the recipient. And he's probably the kind of guy who falls for good women easily... She's smart, her looks don't hold up to Subin's IMO, but she's easy on the eyes, and she is genuinely a nice girl. Perfect dating material for him probably. I think he wants to feel needed and Sae-Byeok is someone who needs protecting because the universe has got it in for her apparently. So, he is more drawn to her. Subin can take care of herself pretty much, so he kind of feels like, "If you can do everything by yourself, why would you need me by your side? I need to go to SB because she NEEDS ME to protect her." At least, that's the line the other men in KDramas give their fiancees whom they later end up cutting ties with.

To add to the fact of Saebyeok being a nice girl, not aggressive, pushy and possessive like Subin, she's down to earth and fun. Even though Hosae loves his mother, he doesn't want to marry someone like her. Subin is like his mother in many ways.
Hosae's father is more understanding of Hosae, but I couldn't believe what he said about Hosae being engaged to Subin. He was railroaded into it by Subin and his mother. He should have had more gumption and stopped it from happening, and not went along with what pleased his mother.

Speaking of Hosae's father, does anyone else think he and Hosae actually look somewhat alike?

I think he just same old rich wimpy korean man, always accept whatever parents say. The whole suititation turn out so bad all because of him, if he did not like Subin, from the very beginning of the show, he should just not even gave her chance to go for engagement, what kind of stupid idea, now is modern day, not the century ago, people just marry, whoever the parents arranged, and how could he let her push to agree for it. Even he likes Saebyeok, he could never give happy time what he had with her from the beginning, because now he is engaged, and Saebyeok is a good girl, don't want to be a third person - the guilty party. Well, I hope Saebyeok better away from this bad suitition, and Hosae clear the air, and straighten up his parents and Subin too - go find anther stupid person to marry .

What doesn't get blamed on Saebyeok, gets blamed on Hosae. Mr. Kang knows Subin almost cost the company the Sol deal but says it's Hosae's fault? Sorry, but it's her fault regardless of what's happening between Hosae and her, it shows her true character or lack thereof. Why is she still the boss of her department let alone still have a job there?
