I find the Yuri/Taepung storyline unbelievable. I know, that's a ridiculous thing to say---this is a K-drama, after all! But I really don't see them together. Plus, Yuri's insistence that SHE gets to marry a Kim sibling, so therefore her brother can't, is koo-koo. Hasn't she been watching this show? Doesn't she know Hosae has been hanging on to Saebyeok for 115 episodes? Pffft. Sorry, he called it already.

This whole show is unbelievable. Remember in the beginning when Mr. Kim didn't tell his wife that their daughter died?? I really can't wait for this thing to end. I just hope we do not get a historical drama to take the place of our only Mon-Fri show.

I am always struck how people will whine and complain about how awful a show is, and how terrible the writing is, and how unbelievable the characters are, etc., but keep watching the show. I know how it is, having watched every single episode of 'My Precious Child/My Lovely Family', back in the day .

I just hope we do not get a historical drama to take the place of our only Mon-Fri show. I've never seen a historical in this time slot. Aren't they usually one-hour shows? They're probably too expensive to make, to not try getting the widest possible audience, so that means prime time, I think. You'll probably get what you want.

For me, if the show is awful and I don't have spoilers (I really appreciate pilseong for the ones he posted!), I'll watch with hopes of it getting better but if I know what's going to happen, I stop watching lol. I've pretty much stopped watching this one now but I still like to read what others who still watch think about it and bless you all for putting up with it! lol

I know most of the folks on the Soompi board aren't sad to see this one go.

I watch it because I am intrigued with the Korean culture, plus there's nothing on American TV. In the NY tri-state area, we only get 2 Korean dramas, one airs Monday thru Friday, and one airs on the week-ends. So I watch whatever WMBC broadcasts. I love foreign shows, and when I lived in New York, I used to go to the Paris Theatre every week, and catch a foreign film. You get a small sense of the culture from TV and movies, and then when you actually go to the country, and are able to recognize certain customs, it doesn't feel so strange to you. I plan on going to Korea in the next few years.

Why don't they have a double wedding, then they won't be related before they get married. Presto-chango, a double connection. ;D They'd have to elope, though. Their mothers would get fierce and probably have a fight, with wrestling or hair pulling, at the wedding.

It's not "whining," it's a critique on a show I'm watching. Are we supposed to just avert our eyes from everything we don't like? Making fun is part of the fun!

That's right Lucy, it's constructive criticism.

Wasn't condemning the whining, merely noting it.
I'm actually enjoying this show, because it is so formulaic, I like seeing how it is hewing to the schedule.
Poor girl breaks up with rich boy (though she doesn't really mean it). . . Yup, right on track!

Best part of yesterday's episode had to be Yuri's mom asking Yuri if she even knew what it meant to get pregnant. Shame they didn't go further into this topic. I would've loved to have seen how it would have played out lol.
I'm with Lucy that making fun is part of the fun. I don't take a lot of this seriously. There's scenes that are probably meant to come off as touching that I think are just outright hilarious. Even with the dramas I really like, the characters are bound to do something that I find funny.

We're all bonding over our annoyance with this drama, Soju.
