Well, okay if you say so - but he sure doesn't look like that now - are these OLD pictures from when he first stared acting? He looks so much younger in these pix - and honestly, not to belabor the point, he looks so different in these pix that I really would never have known they were of him if you didn't tell me - see, even I can learn something new - - ;D

Wow, Tinkerbell, in that pix Lee Pilmo looks great. I've gotta say, I'm not a big fan of his look on this show. Taepong's look, however, I find to be very cool.

I think Taepung's the better actor, too, especially when he has to show some gentleness and sensitivity, which isn't often. He has the Angry Guy thing down pat but watch when he's called upon to look thoughtful or sad. Not bad.
After a good start when he was chasing Soyeong and suffering to marry her, Taeyeong's acting seems to have settled into "Eldest Son" "Older Brother" sameness. So serious and a little dull.

Soapygrams, I think some of the pictures are from 2007 when he starred in Golden Era of Daughter-in-law. Does he look familiar yet?

At first, I liked TY & SY but now I find them annoying, especially SY. For someone who had a kid at a young age, she's quite childish and immature. I know she's been under her mother's care all this time but you'd think she would have been forced to grow up fast in order to deal with the stigma of being a single mom.

I love that early picture of Lee Pilmo. So cute! I always think it's funny that in both "Daughters in Law" and this drama, he's playing a guy in love with a scriptwriter. Who would have thought pigeonholing an actor could get so specific?!

I'm with you, Knov. Soyeong's supposed to be ditzy but it's too much already. I mean, look at those Betty Boop clothes. The script she wrote must be infantile.
I just realized we have a bettyboop member and today's her birthday. No disrespect meant, bb, and happy birthday!
Mod edit: Edited for double posting.

Knov and puppy, make that 3 of us lol. Soyeong just blurts out anything that comes to mind and does things without thought and thinks that it's ok. How many times has she been scolded about it before and yet she continues to act that way; as they often say, the cuteness has worn off. Her daughter's more mature. That's the same reason I could never watch Gilmore Girls, the mother acted like a clueless twit half the time.

I know Soyeong is a bit air-headed, but how could she forget her only daughter's birthday? Out of sight out of mind? Poor Yunhui.

You said it! Wouldn't her MIL understand that she has a child and loves her child and wants to see her once in a while. MIL has a heart, but she doesn't show it until she's done something mean first. SY has learned to cook, apparently; hasn't she earned the right to a little free time?
I agree, it isn't realistic. Or else I just disagree with most of the people. ;D Why wouldn't Hosea tell his father that his mother destroyed the livelihood of SB's family? Even if he didn't tell them too?

Unless there's some "big" development coming up that I can't foresee, I have no idea how these two won best actor and actress awards for these performances.
Not that there's anything wrong with them… but I like so many other characters a lot more.

Moving out is the best solution. They should move out and have Yunhui live with them. That poor girl is ignored and abandoned!! How could Taeyeong's mom not understand that!!
