Subin does not realize that every time she does something mean to Sabayeok, Hosea comes to the rescue. Subin's mean behavior is actually pushing Sabayeok and Hosea together.. That was really mean of Subin to leave Sabayeok stranded at the warehouse and almost getting attacked by some pervert!! I was hoping Saebyeok would ask Hosae why they left the warehouse without her so Subin would be busted.

They do that all the time in these k-dramas. Nobody ever rats anyone else out, and they allow themselves to be doormats. It drives me insane! Do people really behave so sheepishly? Not in New York!

I hear you door60. The martyr thing drives me crazy. Surprisingly Saebyeok asked Subin if she did it on purpose, of course she says no, then Sabyeok says, I hope not. DUH!!! It's so obvious.

I actually liked Sua on Likable. She was spoiled and headstrong but that's how grandma raised her to be. I know she did some mean things but she truly loved her guy (name escapes me at the moment) and did try to learn after they were married.
Now Subin is pure evil. Nevertheless, I think we're meant to see her as the product of an unhappy home and maybe understand some of her nastiness. But she's going after a man who doesn't love her and with whom she'll have the same contentious marriage her parents do. I guess that's human nature.
It always amazes me that I analyze these dramas. I wonder if the writers intend half the things I think they do or if they're only going for plot.

While I didn't care for Sua on LON, at least you knew where she stood. Subin is just underhanded and sly. She manipulates situations and does everything for her own gain. I cannot buy that she actually loves Hosae. I think it is all about her pride and she doesn't want to lose face. Why anyone would want to marry someone who doesn't love them is beyond me.

Yes, the plot/dialogue is starting to make no sense to me, but I'm still hanging in there.

I guess you might have missed one of the early episodes which explained her psychological behavior. As usual,it was one of those moments where she's talking to herself. She said that she always gets what she wants AND she WANTS to have Hosae. So it's not about love;she's on a MISSION..much like getting a toy that she was told she couldnt have.I could be wrong but it may have been the episode after she forced Hosae to share a cab with her from the airport!! Did you see that one?

You're right about Subin; She's OBSESSED with getting Hosea because she believes she is ENTITLED to get anything she wants. Gee, ya think it has anything to do with how her mother acts? Her mom is off the chart . . she makes snap judgments, then acts on them, then gets into trouble or makes a whole bunch of problems for other people - then acts surprised if others get upset. Coo-coo - - - or words to that effect . .

Deep down she knows Hosae loves Saebyeok and that's what infuriates her. How dare Hosae choose Saebyeok over her!

I can't believe she destroyed Saebyeok's project and threw it in the trash, like that's going to make Hosae love her. His feelings aren't going to change even if Saebyeok lost her job at Lohas.

I wonder if she'll just deny it. Is her father the boss? She should get humiliated, but I wonder if she'll get all indignant and claim to be a victim.

Not only is she "Witch 1", but also the "Queen of Rationalization". Like mother, like daughter… so self righteous I can't stand either of them.
