Subinator, I love it zorro! ;D ;D ;D That's a good thought, the parents not signing the consent form. Why doesn't she just refuse to go? I'm sure she could still realize her dream to be a designer elsewhere. I certainly wouldn't let Subinator send me to Siberia. Saebyeok needs to stand up to that witch.

This drama has me confused and not only about Saebyeok's eyes.
For instance, Nayeong died in a car accident in Korea. That's where Saebyeok got her eye(s)transplant. But I have the impression that Saebyeok and Nayeong actually met or knew one another which can't be if Nayeong was already dead. Yet Saebyeok frequently refers to Nayeong as her doctor. (At least in my subtitles she does.) And wasn't Nayeong seeing a doctor in Africa? I'm sure I read that in the early episodes. Her mother talks about being eager to meet him. Then how were Nayeongand Hosae in love?
I may be zoning out while watching this drama and could have missed important twists. It's just sooo dragged out.

I think Sabby doesn't feel she can get another job as a designer because she's not a college graduate, which is something Subin constantly throws in her face. So she feels she has to do whatever in order to keep her job. Eventually, she will probably tell them to take this job and shove it . . . I hope - and find a better position somewhere else. But the Sabby-Subin-Hosea story just keeps going on and on and on -- it is getting old the ways Subin REFUSES to admit that Hosae will NOT marry her. She acts as though Hosae has no say - oh how poetic = in the matter. I think she's in for a rude awakening soon. At least I hope so. ;D

This Russia business is wack. Subin: Oh...if I let her get adopted then she'll have a family to sign the consent. Oh grandma...let them adopt Saebyeok(sp?). Grandma: Ok. Subin: Oh good...now I just talk to Hosae's mom. Sabby goes off to Russia for 3 or 4 years and Hosae is all mine!

I think in the first couple of ep's, Hosea was waiting for Nayeong to come back from Africa so he can tell her that he likes her as a girlfriend (not just as a friend). She came back early with out anyone knowing and got into the car accident. He feels like he was cheated, because he did not tell her in time, before she died. Now he is not going to be so passive. He wants to claim his true feeling, no matter what. That is the only way to live if you want to be happy. Live with no regrets!! Especially when it comes to choosing a life mate.

Thanks, PippiBella, that makes sense. Why did he wait so-o-o- long to express his will, though!? akkk Finally, something is happening.

Maybe each time he was with Nayeong he kept saying I'm sorry instead of just coming out with his feelings. =/

That's a good explanation, PPB. And brooklyn, I wouldn't put it past wimpy Hosae. (but cute!)

I don't know what Hosae sees in Sabyeok -- she's not at all charming or nice to him. Why would he fall so hard for her? Ridiculous!

I don't know what Hosae sees in Sabyeok -- she's not at all charming or nice to him. Why would he fall so hard for her? Ridiculous! No matter who it is, the more they are yelled at or snubbed, they seem even more attracted to that person. I don't get it either. I agree with Kathleen though, Saebyeok can be mean but she's not insanely possessive and evil like the Subinator.

I don't know what Hosae sees in Sabyeok -- she's not at all charming or nice to him. Why would he fall so hard for her? Ridiculous! Did you see the beginning episodes of this drama? Do you know the story of Subin, Hosae and Sabby? If you do, then you know that Sabby and Hosae had a really good time together the times they went to dinner etc. Then it all crashed because Subin found out that Hosae was the guy she saw at the airport and liked. So she told him stories about Sabby and that Sabby only went out with him for the money Subin paid her. Subin attacks Sabby every chance she gets; Sabby told Hosae he can't be coming around her etc because he is engaged to Subin; when he still came around, Sabby told him she didn't like him, thinking that would make him stay away. She does not go out of her way to treat him badly, she's trying not to get between him and Subin. Hosae should do some sincere talking so everyone knows exactly how he feels. Hosae sees the goodness, the intelligence and the pure soul of Sabby; he knows why she keeps pushing him away and is trying to let her know that he and Subin will NEVER marry. Subin keeps saying they will marry . . . I think a groom is needed at any wedding. No matter how much the bride wants the marriage to go on, it won't happen without a groom.

Well said Soapy.
Saebyeok has Hosae's best interests in mind, while the Subinator is only interested in her own.
Easy choice between the 2.

I must admit I like the way Sabby treated the situation when she found out that Subin wanted Hosae. Sabby backed off but Hosae is the one who mostly made everything bad for her and Hosae knows that whatever happens, Sabby will always get the blame. The show should've been subtitled "Blame It All On Saebyeok".

Hosae should have backed off from the beginning like you said, brooklyn. He's making it harder for Saebyeok to do what she thinks is right. How many times has she said to him, "I don't like you. Go away"? But he never listens. Just the way Subin never listens to him when he's trying to tell her the same thing.
