I think the Lohas/Rohas thing just has to do with who is doing the sub titles. I seem to remember (kind of vague) that it was "Rohas" up until they showed a shot of the company's (Romanized) name in the drama itself - and it said "Lohas." As far as I know, there's no difference (in Korean) between the Roman "R" and "L", so I think the subtitler just made his best guess and called it "Rohas." But, when he saw how KBS was Romanizing it, he probably decided to follow KBS's lead instead. Just my best guess, though! It can be a difficult to pronounce ''L'' and ''R'' differently in some Asian languages.I've heard someone say Fellali instead of Ferrari as well another person calling a person named Eileen...Irene.It's to do with the rolling of the tongue or something,I'm not sure!!

Thanks Jungnam,
Thanks for the name of the group. I have heard of them but didn't recognize the group. I made the presumption about Saebyeok, because she didn't hold a mike as the girls in front did. Sorry.

I think mikey and pilseung are right. It reminds me of the movie A Christmas Story when the family went out for dinner after the dogs ate their turkey. At the Chinese restaurant, the waiters sang Deck the Halls, and instead of fa la la la la, they sang fa ra ra ra ra. Regardless, doing subtitles is very difficult and most do an excellent job.

instead of fa la la la la, they sang fa ra ra ra ra. Well that's just lidicurous.

Girls Generation is a large group. Not all of them get parts in each song. I hope Saebyeok beats up Subin for pushing her and making her drop her model.

You could see that one coming. If she didn't ruin her model kitchen, she would have tried something else so Saebyeok wouldn't win the contest.

I thought she was going to knock it out of her hands in the lobby, though. This was rude and an assault, but not exactly a deliberate smashing of her project, I don't think. Not that it's forgivable. brat!

I don't think Subin meant to push Sabby so hard that she lost her balance and fell down. Subin actually seemed surprised that Sabby fell and broke the model kitchen. She seemed a bit sorry. Sometimes, I think she acts and says things off the top of her head and either regrets it later or tries to justify it somehow. Her mother allows her to get away with that stuff. Subin was really shocked when she found out that SB was NOT the reason Hosea cancelled his meeting with her father. It was that darned Seoul traffic! I think that made her feel a bit ashamed of how she acted. But, of course, she got over that quickly. No miraculous change of personality - so far LOL

I agree soapygrams. Subin was shocked after she pushed Saebyeok. It definitely was an accident. I figured she'd try to manipulate the judging of the models somehow.

Subin did it anyway, with that magazine article, didn't she? How did that happen? Saebyeok (sp?) doesn't seem like a cheater, so was it a coincidence?

ginnycat, Subin was determined to get Saebyeok's model disqualified, so she paged through every magazine she could get her hands on and found one that had a similar model kitchen. Hosae asked Saebyeok if she copied and she said no. He called the company that had the other model pictured in the magazine and discovered the article had just come out, so there wasn't any way Saebyeok could have plagiarized it. What gets me is how Subin came out smelling like roses when it was so obvious she was trying to sabotage any chance Saebyeok had at winning the contest. Even if nobody else realized it, Hosae saw what was going on. What's wrong with him? Wouldn't that ugly side of her turn him off?

Hosae is already turned off by Subin but since Sabby told him to get lost and that she didn't like him, he evidently decided that he would go along with his mother's wishes and get engaged to Subin. She is trying to be romantic with him; he's just being polite and considerate. I'm sure by now that he sees through Subin and her attempts to mess up Sabby's chances. You'd think he would have had the good sense to make sure that Sabby was placed into a different team than Subin's though. Fireworks to come for sure.

Tinkerbell, I agree with you 100%. Either Hosae is just dumb, dumb, dumb, or his character is poorly written. No human being looking at those circumstances could have failed to miss what was going on.
