You know, I have to agree with most of you. I just cannot watch this drama. Too, too many evil people. Are women really that mean to eachother in S. Korea? I cannot imagine a society that allows such rudeness towards female family members. I've been watching Korean Dramas for a good 12 to 15 years now and seems to me that the evil behaviour is just getting to be the focal point of the dramas.
Another thing that sort of bugs me is how the drama will drag on for months and months where the same dialogue is heard over and over again. Evil reigns supreme. Then, when people are finally being good to eachother, the drama ends. In two days, they wrap it up real quick like. I so wanted to see evil grandma and Sua be nice to the other women in the household. I even forget the name of the drama now. But, wrapping the dragged out story in like two episodes kinda leave me feeling empty and unvindicated.
So, I'll pass on this drama. Will come here from time to time to see what you're all saying about it and will wait for the next one. Subin's Mom was on my last nerve in episode 1. The grandma's voice is just too silly - bah, they all got on my nerves from the get go. Being in the Philly area where the show airs at 11:52, I'll probably get lots more sleep now.

Dramaqueen, ogad, I gotta agree with grandma's nasal voice, it is like fingernails on a chalkboard x.x I mute her now whenever I watch. Concur as well. We all know that Koream dramas have alot of overacting, but this one takes the cake. Subin's mom, the grandmother of course are the worst. I ,like dramaqueen, have quit watching on a regular basis. I just catch a few minutes here and there just for nostalgic purposes of Korea. There is too much hate and contempt in this drama that is definately putting alot of people off on the show. In the other dramas, at least the writers tempered the anger by highlighting the other faults and fallibilities of the characters. This one is just way too excessive. So, how does a orphan girl go against the rich, egotistical, elite upper echelon of korean society? Easy, she's one of them or some how connected to them. The patricarhal daughter returns!

This is not a really good drama at all. It's sort of frustrating to see so many really GOOD actors being used in this low rated show. I don't know the rating it got in Korea but it's not playing well here in Chicago and from what I'm reading on this thread, not any better on the East coast - We've lived through dramas with mean MILs and other women before but this one seems to be stuck on a mean line - why? Maybe the writer/s was just having a really bad few months I agree with all of you who have said you're not really following this like you did other dramas - me either - now I don't worry if I'm stuck in traffic and can't get home by 6:00 pm - it just doesn't matter - If I'm home, I'll tune it in - if not - oh well ...

Dramaqueen, ogad, I gotta agree with grandma's nasal voice, it is like fingernails on a chalkboard x.x I mute her now whenever I watch. I mute whenever grandma, Hosae's mom, Hosae's sister, Soobin, and Soobin's mom are talking. I hate their voice. But yea I'm getting frustrated too because evil is supreme. I just hope in the end that these 5 ppl get what is coming to them. Surely Hosae will dump Soobin? I have stopped watching it because of the 5 women being so mean to Saebyeok. I can't stand it! They enjoy conflicting pain upon her. Nothing happy is supreme. It's Episode 43 tonight in Northern VA. I think in Korea it's episode 78. From what I heard evil is still supreme. I have a feeling by Ep 100 or so evil won't be as supreme. But I have to agree that this drama is so depressing. Evil is winning! I thought Pure In Heart was bad, but this drama is worse. I wonder if the ratings are good in Korea? I may ask my e mo. Anna

Apparently quite well. wiki.d-addicts.com/You_Are_My_DestinyWatched a little bit last night. Saebyeok entered the Lohas contest and won. But Subin thinks that she copied a German company's design. Turns out that Hosae called and checked up on it and the German company released the design the day of the Lohas company contest so it would have been impossible for Saebyeok to plagerized the design. Apparently, the company released the press statement saying that another contestant won, so they're trying to design what to do. Later, at the engagment party of Subin and Hosae, Saebyeok and her new family show up wot the party where Hosae's mom and dad had a shocked look on their face. Subin's mom didn't want them there but Subin's dad invited them. Now Hosae's parents are going to know that Subin is related to the family. Taeyoung and Soyoung were found out by Soyoung's daughter that they were dating. They meet and Soyoung decides to break up with him. He follows here all the way to her apartment where she says in a typical cliche way, "If you love me, let me go." After saying that, he releases the elevator doors. He goes off and gets drunk and shows up at his house screaming why things have to be this way. Naturally, the parents get upset and there's alot of crying and whining. I caught bits and pieces as I was walking through the living room.

What epi is this lfcfan I've read spoilers up to epi 74 when Hosae broke the engagement with Subin but she's straight up ignoring him and playing a lot of games. Saebyok is also getting adopted by Taepung's family which is driving him crazy.

I believe its in the late 40's. Maybe around 46 or 47. What part of Jersey do you live? Here in Hoboken with Optimum cable with MBC it seems like we get alot of things late.

this drama's really good, but then you see too many plots to make that cornea girl mess up. i really wanna see an episode that she gets back at them.
spoiler: i think in ep 69 or 70 subin got discovered by hosea that she threw away important papers to make that cornea girl get fired. now he hates her, but idk how long lol

This has nothing to do with the drama (which sounds terrible), but dramaqueen, you've been watching for that long? Have they been subtitled all that time where you are? In Chicago, I think they only began subtitling four or five years ago (around when I started watching, and I can't remember exactly how long that was). I didn't even know about them before that. Bo

Although I like this drama, I've taken a little break from watching it because the evilness of the women are just too much to take. The last straw for me was when Subin told Hosae's mom that Cornea girl "lured" him to be with her the night that he was drunk and they got locked in the bank (I think it was a bank). I've been trying to catch up on some episodes but I see that Soju no longer has this drama and I can't find it anywhere else on line with English subtitles, except for a few bits and pieces on youtube.

The guys are okay though...Dae Gu,Dae Jin,Tae Poong and Tae Young..even Ho Sae is starting to stand up to his mum.....Chil Bok seems a good guy too!Hwa Ran,So Young and Yun Hee are good natured though occasionally immature. This drama may not be as good as L o N,but it has its moments
