If I had met her character in real life not knowing her at all, I think her "everytihng must coordinated" lifestyle would creep me out a bit lol. Her car is kinda cool but really weird at the same time and her room is the same way. I guess you have those type of benefits when you still live with mom and dad in korea. If I could I think I'd go with maybe a duck dogers or samurai jack type theme lol, maybe even bugs bunny this probably just hurt my chances with any girl that reads this? lol

LOL london!
The flowers look scary! I grew up with plain white/off white walls, so patterns would be a big step for me lol. I do love that spacing in front of her closet though, I'd model my room like that and put a chair there or something.

Last fall, there was an SBS daily drama (“Love and Hate”) where the lead antagonist had her apartment decked out with the same gaudy wallpaper. So, it must be something that’s gaining popularity in Korea.
It’s a little too wild for me, though. Honestly, it almost makes my eyes hurt from just looking. I wonder if it’s a style that will start to take hold here in America?
One amusing side note about the above SBS daily drama is that the character with the gaudy wallpaper was played by actress Yi Ja-young - the same actress we’re currently enjoying as the self-centered Miae in “Likeable or Not.” ;D

Happy Woman had the flower wallpaper in her living room, and as Mikey mentioned, it's been in other shows as well.
I was wondering if it had something to do with an Andy Warhol fascination. The flower motif is reminiscent of his silkscreen paintings as well as the James Dean-esque multiple that hung over Dr. Jang's couch.
A lot of k-dramas play 40 year old American pop music in the background. Maybe they like showing 40 year old American pop art as well?

I didn't realize it was becoming a trend on the k-dramas.Thanks for that guys. Well, they can't be going wrong since,at least, two of our female boardmembers like the flowers. Zorro I'm surprised no-one has opened a thread about the music played in the background, especially during all those SERIOUS meetings at the cafes!..LOL

I like the old American music (I'm an old American) but not the decorating. Either the rooms are overdone (flowers, stripes, kitty pillows, each wall a different color) or they're bare. I do like the outside of the houses. The Na's apartment building is ultra contemporary and MIL's mansion with it's turret thingie. It looks much grander from the outside than it appears inside.

I like the outside of the apartment also puppy and apparently so does someone else cause they love to show it I just noticed something, in every drama I've ever seen, their computer monitors are always darn near flat on the desks. They have them adjusted so close to the desks, I wonder if anyone else noticed that

Occasionally I saw one afternoon drama with Yi Soon Shin's mother in it. One woman had bedroom furniture with inlaid mother-of-pearl scenes and possibly mahogany wood on her closets. Whew, just gorgeous!

One thing I've noticed about wallpaper on these dramas, especially ones that take place in the 1970's or 80's, is that there often appears to be no effort made to match the pattern at the seams.
