So, whose idea was it to abruptly end tonight's episode (4/6/06) in the middle of a scene? I realize that you (KBC) might be tempted to think that due to a lack of visible participation on this board that there are, indeed, no viewers of this wonderful show, but you would be wrong; since there were only two commercials shown during tonight's episode, I also realize that you couldn't convince the local merchants that anyone would be watching their advertisements, thus the low number of spots aired, but WE ARE HERE!!!!!! Did you really save that much money bypassing the normal person that edits the programs to leave that delicate task to the person playing the tape? ? It's not enough that it's apparently too much of an inconvenience to post a working, reliable schedule so that a person could find when you change the airing of a regular show (yeah, I'm talking about the now cancelled Drama City which I understand, did air this past Friday?) but must you treat the loyal viewer with this sort of disrespect? AH EE GU!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had such bad luck with this show! First I lost most of an ep because my recorder didn't change to Daylight time. Then I set the timer wrong and lost half of the next two eps. Last week I ran out of disk space on my recorder, so I only got the first half, and tonight it started an hour later than usual, so I only got the first five minutes. I was getting interested in this show, but I've missed so much. Maybe I'll see if they have it at Family Video.

Ok, the show didn't start an hour early, but my recorder did. The clock on my recorder, which didn't spring forward on the new date, did spring forward on the old date (yesterday), but I'd already advanced it manually. AAAaaaaahhh, why couldn't Congreess have left well enough aone?

Look in the setup menu, and see if under "clock set", it has a "clock data channel" setting... 11 works for me...As long as channel 11 knows what time and day it is, so does my DVR... I think since the switch to digital is right around the corner, all of the stations have a time stamp in their signal, but why mess w/ what you know works???

My recorder, which is several years old now, doesn't continualy update the time, as newer units do. It does get the time from the PBS channel, but you need to command it to do so. The DST setting is set to change the time on the old dates, so it no longer functions correctly. I thought I'd turned it off when I had similar problems last Autumn, but I guess not

AAAaaaaahhh, why couldn't Congreess have left well enough aone? Here's what I think happend soju. Since this is the second time that DST is earlier, our TVs... my TV was automatically set for DST. This happened last year too. Someone on this board remnded us that we would have to reset the time first SU in April. So I had to manually reset the time on Monday. Did any of this make sense?
