Possible spoiler alert here, so I'll put in a few returns and create some space before my question:
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * I understand that the Eun Ji-won thread, which I haven't read, is supposed to contain a major spoiler. Because of the chest pains Tae-woong has been having (and disregarding), I wonder if he is going to die before the end of the series. I would rather know now, because I'm going to stop watching now if he does. He's my favorite character, and I don't want to be manipulated emotionally; he and Yon-ho are so happy now, but he keeps ignoring his symptoms. That kind of thing drives me crazy and I'd rather not stick around for it. So please do let me know if that's the spoiler.
Thanks!
Lucy

Hello.............................I don't want to tell you directly what happens......but trust me I felt the same way you did and I wasn't dissappointed. Trust me, you will like it, so please continue to watch the series.

Yes, Lucy, it gets complicated towards the end, but by all means keep watching. If you can't wait to know the specifics, instant message me and I'll tell you one-on-one off the board.

Hi, Mikey and Kazuya2000,
Thank you for your replies! I am grateful you thought it was enough just to hint and not tell me the specifics. For some reason I just love "Mr. Cha," even though he's a little too stoic for my taste. (He finally won my heart when he gave her that little blue barrette--somehow the idea of him shopping for such a pretty little thing made him more romantic to me.) But because he's so stoic, he's been a really good example for Yon-ho, who's definitely showing maturity while retaining her impishness.

hi I'm a newbie
I just recently watching this series. the problem is it comes in 2 packages and I only seen one, no 1-24. I was dying to see the 2nd half but none available in english sub.
could anyone just tell me or PM me whether Tae Ung died or not? that's all I want to know for now. I haven't even get to the part where they got married, but yes I know and read a little spoiler here and there. I just not sure about the ending. Please if anyone can tell me.
Thank you.

Well, eeyore, since "On the Green Prairie" has finished its Chicago run, I guess there's no need for me to worry about revealing spoilers now!
Tae-woong (you say Tae-ung, but you're probably watching a version with a different person doing the subtitles than the one we saw) does survive, though the writers play a game with us and imply that he died on the operating table. Only at the very end do we discover that he really did survive, and that he'd saved his money and finally bought his family a beautiful house "On the Green Prairie."
I thought it was a really sweet ending.
